The fact that we can have guys try out and not just say yes to every nba player who’s willing to put on the jersey nowadays, speaks volumes to how far this program has come in a short amount of time. Wiggs could be a quality bench piece if he’s at his best.

The players that were there to help the team quialify for the olympics should get first priority.

I’m kinda torn on this. The “3-year commitment” has to mean something if they want to have NBA players play in the qualifiers going forward. A lot of players committed to the qualification process and made sacrifices so the team can get to this point. If Wiggins just walks in and takes someone’s spot, it doesn’t set a good example for NBA players going forward.

One has to suspect part of the reason he hasn’t played the last few summers was due to personal reasons. He was taking playoff games off so it would shock me if national team games weren’t also considered optional to him?
