Zion WIlliamson To The JAZZ

Zion WIlliamson To The JAZZ

could Zion Williamson be on the move and more importantly could the Utah Jazz potentially be able to make a play at getting him and how good would they be if they were able to achieve such a feat today we’re going to be discussing that in this video as always it’s your boy waith hoops go ahead and smash that like button and subscribe and turn on post notifications if you like NBA content and in exchange I’m going to give you guys all the good stuff all the nitty-gritty and all the details you need to know in order to formulate an opinion on this potential trade for yourselves with that being said let’s go ahead and get into this [Music] [Music] one Bleacher Reports Andy Bailey suggested that the Jazz could be a potential trade Suitor for Zion Williamson if he should be available considering the fact that the Pelicans did end up being a team that was capable of being in the playoffs But ultimately without Zion they were kind of helpless was very unfortunate you had valent Tunis who was fighting for his life against Chad holgren and the likes of the front court for the Thunder and honestly he was winning but when you have Brandon Ingam being that second star who was supposed to step up in the absence of Zion being absolutely clamped up by Lou Dort it didn’t really do you many favors by default one could contest that the potential of a trade could be imminent and if that does end up being the case obviously it will be quite a hefty deal but I think that ultimately it will be worth doing I think that a healthier Zion would come from a Zion in a different city I think that he would be able to lose his weight and keep his weight off if he was put on a different plan and a different workout and dietary restriction level with a organization that was capable of keeping him in check and not just keeping in check as though he’s a wild animal but helping him in the process as he tries to take care of himself because that is the most important thing Danny Y in his exit interview for the season was known as saying that the Jazz would be going big game hunting this off season and Zion Williamson definitely could be that potential Target or one of those type of potential targets that could change the landscape of the NBA as it stands and as myself being a person who feels like the GES might end up Le frogging the Jazz if no moves are made this is one of the few moves that could potentially be made to boost the Jazz up into the playoff pick rather heavily and stoutly to begin with I think that likely Zion Williamson is going to be a very interesting piece his overall strong interior presence and ability to shoot High percentages literally at the rim and anywhere within 10t of the rim allows for him to be a little bit of a very strong complimentary piece alongside lry Markin who does most of his damage from you guessed it outside of the arc so they’re very complimentary of each other instead of overlapping and having the same skill set that just kind of requires one to take a turn then the next person to take a turn they both score but in two different ways and considering the type of just dump truck that Zion Williams intends to be and the fact that he can just gut through defenses with his pure power I love the ability for him to have the reliable shooting of Larry marinin and have the assistance of other people alongside the perimeter to give him a little bit of a boost defensively he wouldn’t necessarily be the greatest upgrade because he does have his issues but Zion in better shape still being as muscular as is I think that could be a little bit of a sneaky pick and I think in the system that will Hardy has in place he could end up being a more plus Defender than he’s been at any other point in his career in the trade the suggestion was that the Utah Jazz would end up receiving Zion Williamson Larry Nance Jr and a 2029 pick swap in exchange the Pelicans would end up receiving Walker Kessler John Collins Bry the ball the 28th pick in this draft the 32nd pick in this draft Cleveland’s first round pick in next year’s draft and the Lakers first round pick in 2027 that’s a massive haul some people thought that that was a steal when I was looking in the comments of the post suggestion and I disagree four first round picks plus Walker Kesley who’s going to give them a strong interior presence though they already have valent Tunis valunas is getting up there at age so you like to be able to groom a younger piece you’ll also have the ability to have John Collins who’s going to be that shooting big that can potentially move things around and make you a little bit more versatile because remember valent Tunas can’t shoot especially not from Beyond The Arc and concerning the fact that you might still have Randon Ingram unless they CH unless they potentially deal bi as well I think that it would be a nice rebuilding block kind of standpoint from that point of view and then Bry sense of all has shown the ability to be a very solid score when it really comes down to it though his efficiency kind of sucked over the entirety of his time with the actual Utah Jazz we saw a little bit more consistency out of him with the SLC Stars g-league affiliate team but I think that he has another gear that he can tap into and after this off season I expect him to be a significantly better score and still consistently be a surprisingly decent passer who takes a little bit more Pride on the defensive side of the ball and those pieces together along with four first round picks which admittedly the two this year are kind of late in the year but still four first round picks nevertheless I could see a world where that is a really tantalizing deal if you’re the Pelicans and you don’t think that you’re going going to end up being a contender with scon on your roster and it’s a one of those unfortunate truths because they’re not necessarily the biggest Market team and they don’t attract all the biggest stars and honestly Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson thought in my eyes at the very least seem to be a ideal fit across the board but it ended up not being that way and you see a lot of situations where Brandon Ingram can’t fight on his own and Zion Williamson is much more effective when the ball’s in his hands and because he needs the ball in his hands to be effective and Brandon Ingram is known for being an elite playmaker you can kind of see a your turn my turn kind of situation instead of a cohesive just flow on the opposite side of the ball that combined with the fact that both of them are neither really great Defenders and you have a world where they’re relying on CJ mome to assist them in being successful on the offensive side of the ball while also being shredded on defense which I’ll tell you from watching firsthand isn’t necessarily the most attractive thing to watch that said as previously stated Z Williamson has the ability to create one of the greatest front Court tandems in the league the likes of which could probably only be bunny hopped by LeBron James at his age despite alongside Anthony Davis I would potentially be willing to say that the situation that the nuggets have going on with joic and Aaron Gordon would be nice but Aaron Gordon isn’t quite in that window he’s not as skilled for me personally or as dominant inside of the paint as Zion is to make him seem that way and considering the fact that low is an elite shooter I think that he puts himself in a situation to where he’s a little bit more reliable but yic again is the best or the second best player in the league depending on where you view Luka donic at this point considering his playoff run and you could see a world where that is a slightly better Duo to have in the front court but nevertheless it’s definitely an upgrade from what the Utah Jazz were able to put on the court this year and if Taylor Hendricks ended up being the player that he po potentially has the ability to be despite trading a away Walker Kessler you could still find yourself in a situation where you feel really comfortable with all five guys you all on the court and you can still take a step forward defensively and though Zion doesn’t have a jumper necessarily you can find other pieces that will allow you to have Shooters on the floor particularly at the wing spot or if Keon dorge takes that next step forward that we all think he potentially can because he did show flashes this year he just didn’t show enough for us to go ahead and say he is the point guard of the Utah Jazz’s future but you guys let me know what you guys think of this trade proposal in the comment section below do you think that Z Williamson is for one going to end up getting traded to begin with and for two do you think he’s going to go to the Utah Jazz and if so do you think that’s a reasonable package to have for him or do you think there’s going to need to be a little bit more to sweeten the pot over some other teams that could get in the mix as always go and smash that like button subscribe and turn on post notifications it’s been your boy wraith hoops and good morning morning good evening and good night no matter where you’re on the globe watching thanks for tuning in and I’ll catch you guys in the next one peace [Music] [Music]

In this video we discuss is the potential opportunity for Zion Williamson to be traded from the New Orleans Pelicans to the Utah Jazz in the attempt to have a hard reset. There is only a matter of time before the pelicans. I like to do some thing they with the roster and this off-season presents the optimal opportunity to make some thing shake. Pairing Zion Williamson, with Lauri Markkanen for the Jazz would definitely boost them over the hump and put them heavily into playoff contention, though it would be a question of fit at times because of the difference in the two’s games.

  1. Zion is very good player. Very good indeed. However, jazz need point guard. Without star level pg, everything else lead to failure. PG is what they must get and they should put all effort to get one.

  2. Hmm Zion in the land of Zion at Zion's Bank arena (well its Delta now but it was Zion's Bank recently).

The problem is lets face it: Zion would never ever sign an extension or stay in Utah. Theres not enough OF models and strippers here to keep him happy. From the outside looking in thats all he cares about Hes so immature its crazy. His little press conferences with Brandon Ingram ke ke ke ing it up about all their shenanigans off the court is just such an eyeroll.

    But…..talent is talent I guess.

I agree with the other commenter here who said we gotta get that floor general or little else matters. The modern NBA will be ruled by the SGAs and Lukas of the world with a nod to Jokic. You gotta get that 6ft 4+ long lanky passer who can shoot and defend or you're never going anywhere these days.

  3. If the were to happen it would be a huge get and if we can get better at the guard positions it could be the move we’re looking for, but I could be too optimistic.

  4. I don't hate the idea of Zion and Lauri paired together as wings. They definitely have completely different set of skills, that in theory should compliment eachother.

If we take away all the intangibles, such as Zions fit to Salt Lake City or Jazz's culture and potential cost of trading in for him, there would be a huge glaring issue we just can't overlook.

Zion plays around 35 regular season games per average and Lauri around 60. We would realistically see them together for around 25-28 games together every regular season.

Should Jazz go and actually trade in for a star player, it should be someone with projected availabily rate at least similar to Lauri

  5. If we gonna give them that many draft picks we gotta keep Kessler
If it means Kessler goes na I'd prefer the jazz not do that

  6. There is no way that New Orleans does that deal. The biggest problem with trade scenarios is they are rarely realistic.
What it would take to realistically get Zion from New Orleans would be the following
Collins + Keyonte or Sexton (Probably sexton since he has more immediate value)
You can throw in Kessler or Hendrix (Which ever they prefer) I think the Jazz would prefer Kessler to go
Then it would take 5-7 More Picks 2-3 of those being very high quality.
Anything less than that – New Orleans Hangs up.
I don't know if we should do this or not, I am just trying to give a realistic view of what a trade like this would actually take.

  7. If you knew you could keep him healthy it would be a strong yes. He’s only 23-24 yrs old. Markkenan , Zion, sexton core is very interesting. It’s worth giving up a lot get him. Get him in Utah working hard, eating right, no hoes and Utah would be the perfect reset to a superstar career

  8. Hmm . . . I don't see this trade happening 🤔 because I believe the Pelicans will say no to the deal. Besides that, I have high hopes Kenny Lofton Jr. will blossom this coming season and give the Jazz a BIG boost. He's a smart player who has the ability to BULL his way into the paint.

  9. loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool WHY TH F Would pelicans do it ??? ARE YOU INSANE ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
