how do you see Dallas taking on the Clippers show Dallas is very dangerous team you know Clippers up and out it depends on which Clippers team you’re going to show up the only thing for Dallas the elders have to perform well Dallas going to be hard to beat but the Clippers I’m I’m just worried which Clippers team going to show up I think they’ll win this series I think they’ll get to the Conference Finals and I’ve always said that LCA get him a a running mate he can have a chance because I’ve seen the things he’s done in the playoffs and with no one and now he has a running make and they can make a serious run I’ve been on the Clippers bandwagon year but I love the trade deadline by the Mavs I never know which clipple team going to show up I do know one thing about the Mavs Kyrie and Luca going to score on [Applause] anybody all right guys let me get some room I get it up nice and high okay here we go and we got a little bit of a Fray Washington and Westbrook getting into it after the foul called on Westbrook first playoff game for this group could be nerves but give the Clippers credit they were the better team this afternoon zubot musling in gford for the easy finish harded into the paint leaves for zubot another easy two zubac was big um he dominated uh here in game one at the center position George dumps it in zubac’s able to finish through the contact of Irving and right now Dallas just has no answer uh they play to him in the post um and we didn’t have an answer remains in at the four Irving dancing and finishing he’s a highlight wizard I talked about this a few weeks back just it’s a series not a time to lose confidence you know some of my teammates are going to shoot better going into game too then we just want to continue to feed him confidence oh we just got to play like we used to play I think we did a great job last 20 games so we just got to play like that crowd rising to its feet the Los Angeles Clippers take game one against the m you get this win even without Kawai Leonard who is expected back in this series where is the confidence level at heading into game two we believe in each other you know what I mean so obviously uh we missed kaai but you know we still got to win the games and we did a really good job of tonight so we ready to game for game two the hands of L who has started to one up even warmer trying to deny Kyrie Terrence man Kyrie finally came away with the pass tou shot but the magical left hand strikes again Kai got to be great leaders for other players other coaches Kai was talking on the bench and we just keep the guys together and that’s what we have to do knocked away from lightley picked up from Irving fantastic pass and he turns into PJ Washington with a corner three Westbrook really overplaying Luca they found him he drives he finds Washington another one another one for PJ Washington what have you seen I mean luuka and Kyrie have been playing pretty well uh the last couple weeks heading into the playoffs uh in the mental work that you’ve done watching film and in today what have you seen that makes him such a difficult tandem uh them just being a three- LEL scorers and also uh you know Finding their teammates getting them uh some looks on the floor as well um you know they’re very Dynamic um very skilled [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] well for the first time since late May of 2022 there is Mavericks playoff basketball in this building at American Airlines Center tonight we welcome you to game three of the Mavs and the [Applause] Clippers luuka in game one you and Kai talked about the physicality has to be better what’s your assessment in game two in game three on the physicality oh great I think we uh took now one two steps the phys physicality Luka oh man the that Westbrook a foul and then now PJ Washington and Westbrook exchange words remember that Westbrook is already sitting on a flavorite one tonight PJ Washington Jr has a technical foul tonight so I think these last two games was great physical wise so uh with this three games pass so we got to focus on the next one and now what is going on PJ PJ Washington has gone full like wrestling fill in here love it from what we’ve seen Dallas is their their ability to guard you guys and and everything like how do you assess what they’re doing that’s that’s been successful yeah I mean what they’re doing is is just crowding trying to get us to play in crowds staring us to move the ball you know honestly just relying are we going to pass it are we going to give it up are we going to get off of it I think overall it’s Force us to shoot either that or or or drive it in the paint where they’re where they’re packing it I think that’s the options that they’re giving us but I think we can we can figure it out we know what they’re doing we just have to kind of just counter it at this point what a win for the Mavericks game three is going to be a final score of the Mavericks 101 the Clippers 9 and with that Dallas now leads the series two games to one just under two minutes left in the third you only got two points you end with 21 let’s talk about that explosion after that I was having fun up until that point two points really doesn’t matter all I care about is winning games okay two points but four fouls how did you play with that foul trouble and fight through all of that it’s all IQ it’s all IQ and uh just understanding Tendencies but also understand how valuable I am out here I can’t get four fouls again and uh just got to be smarter I can’t thank you enough for the time Kyrie of course of course baby there he goes Kyrie Irving the Mavs are up two games to one it’s time for game four of this best of seven series the Clippers and the Mavericks sellout crowd tonight Paul and Harden play differently when kawhai is out or is their strategy maybe on their side different in those situations I think I think so yeah I think they’re way more aggressive uh you know trying to get his shots uh me PG in the first half was insane you know he made some tough tough shots over the hand a lot of Threes hard and the same so just got to know that both of them are coming I mean they’re hell of Fame MVP players so we got to do better job with them Irving three-pointer you know me as one of the leaders of the team I just got to do a better job of preparing our guys and and just um being honest and upfront with them about what these guys are going to look to do and then we do our best to stop them top Clea extra pass irvan s side step three-pointer puts it in Kyrie Irving now with 31 I when I see PG take a head fake three step back you know and and it goes all net I mean that’s he’s having a heck of a night and when he starts off that way uh you got to kind of cool him down and I don’t think we did that enough tonight playing with five fouls step back three tie [Applause] game Irving inside the lamb oh how did that go in Mavericks Take the Lead s on the shot clock George goes in the corner falling away oh it’s good Paul George from downtown and the Clippers back up by two and without kawii Leonard will even up this best of seven series of two games a piece and the Clippers will go home as they regain the home court advantage in this best of seven series Luca going into game five what would you say some of the keys are for y’all to not come out slow play with energy we just got to go out there play 48 minutes hard there is nothing like the NBA Playoffs what a week and a half it has been so far between the Mavs and the Clippers and now the series after an exciting weekend in Dallas is back in Southern California for game five tonight Luca driving Clea same spot rinse and repeat Hardon lost the dribble Kyrie picks it up and attacks a one man fast break and he’s also bow here’s a low clock situation and Lucas first three down the well you delivered the largest playoff loss in Clippers history I mean this was such a dominant win what changed when it came to the third quarter because you didn’t look back after that yeah I mean uh and the players it doesn’t matter if you win by one or you win by 50 but uh it’s still a good win uh but job is not done you know we got one more we need to win one more and we got to get ready for next game it’s the Los Angeles Clippers of the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Playoffs the winner of this series will play Oklahoma City that series will start on Tuesday attack dribbled it off his foot PJ Washington this is two pull three he L that shot he knew it he knew it he knew it crowded going to go to Gafford his away to the rim loves it we love it Kai loves it and Kai shoots at three to start the corner we love it o clock now 5 Seconds Luca driving around Norman pal got of the paint banging off bodies and defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 114 101 in game six they win the series four games two and they move to the conference semifinal this is uh the first time you’re going through the playoffs with Kyrie what have you learned about Kyrie so far in playoff basketball uh he’s amazing man uh he just in the first year I think he had two points and then he finished with what 30 uh it’s amazing uh never count him out uh amazing just having him on the team moving on OKC next what’s going to be the key to that series oh it’s going to be Up Tempo we got a bunch of young guys we’re going against uh I said I think I read something the other day I think I’m one of the oldest in the playoffs now so so I you know I feel I feel like it’s it’s part of my responsibility uh to get my guys ready and we
