male Bridges seems to be recruiting Josh Hart to the Brooklyn Nets in a weird turn of events from what we usually talk about with Mel Bridges and we’re going to jump right into it so what’s up guys welcome back to Nick’s digest it’s Chris here and apparently M Bridges is trying to recruit Josh har to the Brooklyn Nets after a post from Josh Hart talking about being on ESPN on ABC during the NBA finals which he’s been great on and he posted this on Instagram saying might quit my day job to where male Bridges response come to the Nets and then Josh Hart responds to that are you okay if they have you hostage just blink and we’ll save you now obviously we know that Josh Hart and M Bridges like to have their fun when it comes to kind of just messing with one another especially Josh when it comes to trying to recruit male Bridges to the Knicks and I think many people would call it tampering but Josh har does it in such a joking manner that people kind of just let it go even though he absolutely is tampering he is trying to get male Bridges to the Knicks at the end of the day but if he does it in a comedic way that also just seems like him being an annoying friend then I guess he can just get away with it I don’t know I obviously don’t mind because as I’ve said multiple times I think the Knicks acquiring M Bridges would make them the best team in the NBA and I think they’d win the finals if they were able to trade Buon by donovic and picks for M though I don’t know why anyone would ever trade Julius Randle for him I think every trade pack is I’ve ever seen about that is stupid the money doesn’t even align so I don’t understand why the hell that would happen but buan bogdanovic’s money aligns perfectly meles you throw five six picks at them obviously someone be swaps and protected if it’s that many and I think you got yourself a deal or at least the Nets should do that but they’re a stupid franchise so you can’t really trust them but Mel Bri just talked about Josh Hart in 2023 and he said he’s a legit Troll he’s just a nut that’s why I respond on it back like leave me alone or no I’m okay the villain Nova guys there on the Knicks there’s four of them counting Ryan AR deako who will be back again and he said I’m right here so I understand it I will always tell him I’m good here I’m happy and I think there’s a real world where Mel BR is actually is happy to be on the Nets I mean he gets to live in the greatest city in the world he gets to be in the same city as a bunch of his other friends from college which is huge even if they’re not on the same team he’s close to Philadelphia where he’s from there’s a lot of reasons that M Bridges would probably be happy to be on the Nets would he rather be on the Knicks I’d assume so okay I know so but being on the Brooklyn nuts doesn’t seem like the worst thing in the world if I were an NBA player if I wanted to be close to home I’d obviously want to play for the Knicks first because the Knicks you know have fans they’re a fun team it’s just they have the best fans in the world really why wouldn’t I want to play for the Knicks in Madison Square Garden but the net would probably be my second choice so there’s a world where M’s like you know what no if I’m not going to be in the Sixers if I’m not going to be in the Knicks the Nets are a fine option because I still get to live near home and I get to be in New York City which is freaking awesome he also gets an opportunity to just take a bunch of jump shots and that’s got to be a good time for an entire season now Josh hard talked about Mel Bridges and said it’s like that SpongeBob Meme where Squidward is looking out the window and he sees SpongeBob and Patrick having fun and Mel is Squidward he’s obviously referring to the fact that his teammates well all Mel’s teammates are on the Knicks all his college teammates are there having a blast and he’s just not he’s on a team that’s losing and doesn’t have fans so that makes things difficult obviously and Josh Hart has been trolling M Bridges literally forever with this or at least since Dante D venzo signed the graphic I showed you with male talking about Josh Hart being a troll that comes from when D venzo signed with the Knicks and then Josh har tweeted out yo Mel Bridges call me I need to talk to you now Mel Bridges and Josh Hart took a lot of detector test and well it came out to be the truth that Mel Bridges would want Josh Hart as a teammate again so the LI detector came through and showed us what one what had to happen because let’s be real we know Josh Hart is never going to the Brooklyn Nets it’s why it just breezed right over it there’s honestly a better chance that I go to the Brooklyn Nets than Josh Hart does the Knicks would never trade Josh Hart they don’t want to lose Josh Hart they they just won’t even when you think about trades in general not even one for M obviously but literally for anyone because it has been said on the flip side of things that the Knicks are looking for more of a Giannis level player with all their picks whether that’s Giannis or Devon Booker or a different top 10 player in the NBA given Giannis is like top three top five that’s not Mel Bridges so if you think that way if the Nicks want a true true NBA star someone who probably is going to be good enough to win a team of Championship even though they have Bronson who’s good enough they wouldn’t be trading guys like D venzo or Josh har I think the best player they would trade is Julius Randall and that’s only if they have to only if they have to do it like they know Randall’s contract extension is upcoming and I guess they could figure instead of having to pay him they could move him if it’s for a Giannis but outside of that I don’t really think Julius is getting traded it would mainly be bonovich or like it’ be bonovich like that’s really where you’re going they’re not and maybe deuce and potentially Mitch like those are the guys who I could see getting traded guys like obviously Bronson but Josh Hart Dante D venzo they’re not getting moved that core of the Knicks team the Knicks fans just love them and clearly it results in wins so they’re just going to keep that going they’re not going to get rid of that core under any circumstances and honestly if you look at what m talked about with Josh Hart he’s just said y’all know it’s Josh right jaylen’s not saying anything it’s just Josh that’s who he is he’s going to say jokes like that he knows he’s going to get everyone riled up when talking about the whole Squidward situation honestly it’s just so funny the way this is all went down because not too long ago most Knicks players probably would have preferred to be on the Nets and now it’s just a complete flip of things because the Nets are once again terrible and it’s like that Meme oh no we suck again um I understand it’s with an accent but I’m not going to I would sound so racist if I did one so I’m not going to do that um but look do I think the Knicks are going to be able to get M bridges into a trade probably not no I don’t think the Nets are going to move him because no matter what has been said it now appears like the Brooklyn Nets do want to build around M like he’s some NBA superstar I feel like that’s an atrocious idea but I get where they’re coming from they’re out of so many picks they might just figure all right we we already don’t have enough picks I guess we just use these Suns picks to dig deeper and hope that somehow we find light on the other side is I guess the idea but truly I don’t understand how the Nets fix their situation they absolutely shot themselves in the foot once again and they’re going to be bad for a long time and M Bridges he’s not going to want to play for that team forever he becomes a free agent in 2026 and theoretically the Knicks Knicks are not going to have money but they could figure out some sort of sign and trade I assume and that could maybe help get them the man who just deserves to be on the New York Knicks and Joe Sai recently said about the Nets he’s like I want to build a winning mentality and culture that’s sustainable if you just want to be a win now team you could ruin your future by trading away all your assets and I think what I want to do with the Brooklyn Nets is take a longer term approach and build a sustainable winning culture well we all know that the Brooklyn Nets just always try to build a sustainable winning culture and they never trade away any of their draft picks in a terrible move okay obviously they do um look you just can’t trust what the Nets are going to do they’re they’re a franchise that has no idea what they’re doing so it’s hard to really decipher what their plan is if josi is saying what it sounds like he’s saying then there’s a world where Mel gets traded the whole problem is trying to get him traded to the Knicks if you’re the Knicks or the whole deal is that Knicks are just going to go for a Yannis level player and say screw it we don’t really care about male Bridges he’s not the piece we’re looking for and all this would go away if ogan and Obi did decide to leave the Knicks this season this off season but I just don’t see a world where that happens so I really do not think the Nicks are going to get M Bridges anytime soon I hope they do I think it’s a trade you can make but we’re going to see what the Knicks do Leon Rose is hard to figure out we also thought we weren’t getting OG on and Obi because the whole deal the whole lawsuit with the Raptors so we’re not really going to be able to figure this one out Leon is just very secretive and honestly I would love this type of player because he fits so well with the Knicks being one of the best on ball defenders in the NBA when he’s not having to be some shot Creator putting up 19 and a half points loves to shoot that corner three shoots it that an efficient clip loves to shoot the three in general great catch and shoot shooter that 37% would go up on the Knicks because there’d be way less of a defensive focus on him he’s also pulling down four rebounds getting three and a half assists so I would love to see M bridges on the Knicks hopefully they could figure out a way to do that and not overpay at the same time but I’m not sure how likely that is but guys let me know do you guys still want them do you want
