At least we no longer pay for this man

The interesting part of this to me: Doc was reportedly after Sam Cassell really hard who had an interview with us and has been named as an assistant target as well.

  4. Bro these guys are gonna make Giannis want out of Milwaukee, yikes

Jesus christ do I feel for the Bucks fans. First they gotta deal with Doc, now Darvin too?

  6. Ngl. I saw “[Woj] Darvin Ham is joining the” and almost had a heart attack.

Bucks players liked Darvin Ham a lot. He wasn’t ready for a head coach job but he seemed solid as a player-focused assistant coach

This was not the Woj bomb I turned my Twitter notifications on for

  10. whowasonCRACK2

I turned alerts on for Woj tweets the other day and getting a notification from Woj that began with “Darvin Ham
” almost killed me

D.H. is finalizing deal to take a major coaching position!

LOL highly sought after? They must mean as an assistant. And that’s exactly what he should be until he learns how to run a tean

  13. Responsible_Focus424

Frees up a couple million for the Hurley train lol

Solid for an assistant coach. He just wasn’t ready for head coaching, especially for the lakers.

  15. the_iceman_cometh

There is no reason to think he is a bad assistant coach. Yeah, it’s clear he wasn’t ready to be a HC, especially the situation he was given. But he did coach the Lakers to their second best season in the last decade. Don’t need to be salty about him at this point.

Dude’s game plans were elite sad that he couldn’t get players to buy in

This man ruined a great AD/LBJ season. I will never forgive him.

The coaching duo of “Doc Pockets” is going to be hilarious

  20. Imkitoto

    More natural fit.

    He’s a good assistant coach

  21. motorboat_mcgee

I have a feeling he’s still a great assistant, as it seems he works well with players, but he’s not at all an x’s and o’s guy

  22. JazzyButternuts

    Highly sought after?

  23. Good for him. That’s the type of role he’s better suited for.

  24. Dmbfantomas

Good for him. Hope he does well and grows into being a better coach.

  25. Confident_Pen_919

Got his bag and returned home to where he was loved and respected. I respect it

  26. redbluenavy

Assistant coach seems like a really good role for him. The Bucks players absolutely love him, especially Giannis. All we can hope is they take the C’s 7 games every playoffs, though Glenn is still gonna Glenn.

  27. AvatarMunchies

Honestly good for him. He’s fine/good as an assistant.

  28. Fun_Needleworker_172

Doc and Ham together. Helluva duo.

  29. jurassic_snark-

Ham Rivers is a perfect duo for The Milwaukee (Passing the) Bucks

  30. BoysenberryJunior294

Good for him. Terrible hc but he won’t have much pressure on him as a AC

  31. BigSmoke2023

Before you make jokes remember ham was liked and respected by a lot of player before coming to the lakers
