’22-23 Marist → Undrafted → Heat Summer League (50% 3PT on 3 attempts per game in 4 games) → Nets Exhibit 10 → 2023 FIBA World Cup (20 pts, 7/12 FG & 5/7 3PT, 7 reb, 3 ast in a W vs Mexico) → ’23-24 Long Island Nets (8.4 PPG, 44.8% 3PT on 1.6 attempts per game, 5.8 REB, 15.8 MIN)
via NBA Draft Analyst @NoCeilingsNBA: >-The 6’11” big man has a great shooting stroke for a player his size. Smooth mechanics + clean shot prep footwork when settling in off movement. >-His 19.4 AST% is tremendous for his size. Sees the floor well when facing up and can make a wide variety of passes to hit the open man. Can sneak bounce passes to cutters or sling a sharp dish to the weakside corner. >-Light on his feet on both ends of the floor. Fluid mover in space. >-May have untapped upside due to his late-blooming trajectory. Started at the JuCo level before playing two years of D2 ball, then transferring up to Marist. >-Consistently found ways to produce. Gardner was only held below ten points in one game in his first season at the Division-1 level.
