Giddey is a bad fit yes, but that doesn’t make him a bad player. If he goes to a place that can use his playmaking, size and rebounding, he is going to pick up where he left off with the triple doubles and high assists games because he has the ball in his hands, where he’s his best.
His shooting has gotten better every year:
2022: .263% 3PT
2023: .325% 3PT
2024: .337% 3PT
So even if he progresses to just normal efficiency 34-35%, it will be enough and he has been doing everything he needs to get there, as the results speak for themselves.
