further along defensively than offensively has real potential as a defensive anchor that’s his weakness has real potential as a defensive anchor is he vocal enough and does he have the smarts to read an offense and Lead his defense like a free safety not currently not currently a standout passer nor playmaker by any means while he can get to the rim and finish he can be out of control when that depends on if on if the upper management is Gonna Keep Trey or not because if the turn around if they’re keeping Trey then it’s now it’s you don’t regardless hold on hold on regardless of whether the players last season was a good draft universally was a good draft this year if they have rich in my opinion I believe rich aay and SAR are very close I’m going with Rich aay because I think he’s a better scheme fit offensively I think he’s a better fit and he has I trust I trust his floor I don’t know what SAR Flor is he has so many things to develop I’m not confident even Quinn scouting I mean even Quinn’s coaching staff can develop five or six reliable skills with say I know he got two skills for sure he got definitely gonna have to play in college part next produ he’s not what we’re saying to you is his floor his floor is already rotation players I know today he can come in the NBA right now and play I Can Fly him to Atlanta and play him tomorrow I know exactly what he’s gonna his Groove he runs off three four games of scoring 17 to 20 points a night and then he gets hurt and then he has to come back in and refine his rhythm and he’s just not good I think the problem with Hunter is more injuries than it is consistency he is a solid defensive player and I don’t think you guys understand that it’s not you can’t find too many good defensive wings that also are going to go down on the other end shoot 38% from the three I like for him to rebound more but you’re you have to figure guys that are true upgrades over him are your Brandon Ingram players if you go out and get that fine but like this notion of go out and get OJ anobi is is silly they’re the same guy they’re literally the exact same player same injury concerns everything and OG is gonna cost $30 million and dandre Hunter cost 20 and I’d rather keep that kind of big Wing next to next to Jaylen Johnson because I know that works defensively and I’m just trying to look for another guy that’s around their height that can work and play defense and knock down shots next to Trey Young when we were at our best with Trey it was double drags heavy pick and roll two big sets I know I can get that from Jaylen Johnson I’m looking for a big five that’s why kinging makes a lot of sense for how we play he’s gonna set hard screens he’s gonna be a hard roller he’s good in the short roll and he’s developing a those guys for 10 million5 million like you’re talking about Mitchell Robinson level guys Daniel gaff like those are the guys that fit the scheme of what Quinn Snider has always ran none of his teams not even in Utah were heavy switching teams that’s not what he does so a guy like SAR is really redundant and I don’t think he’s a five I think he’s a four and I don’t think Jaylen Johnson is a three I think Jaylen Johnson’s a four and I don’t think those two guys can really play together if sar’s not a five that’s the bigger that’s the big concern to me is like SAR is a dude that’s like for to play with Trey you have to be able to play in The Pick and Ro he’s light he’s he’s slight of frame he’s not going to be able to generate that much cleanup so if I really wanted to Big at number one I would just go cleaning because I know next to Trey young and he don’t finish well through he contct I don’t understand okay I don’t understand why you guys get to project for Ray for what he can be he played in the regular season so my thing is like when I watch him play I don’t see a lot of things that’s going to translate to the NBA immediately there’s a really video of him like he he struggles with he talk about his handle like he struggles catching the ball he struggles catching the ball he that well yeah a lot that’s where a lot of his turnovers come as when he trying to create he travels he doubles he he he carries yeah but that’s when he trying to self create but even simp stuff like going up on a catch he fumbles the ball or when he does move back door and they throw it to him he’s under 60% on layups so it’s like the functional stuff that I need him to do he’s he’s La he doesn’t set proper screens defensively you talk about switching a lot of times is chasing recover he recovers and blocks the shot but if you look at his feet his technique is off is wrong so like he really SAR really is a winning player that just grew to S1 but at some point you have to at least show me that you can do the things that like I think there’s times where I watch him and he hits the flip shots and I think the touch is there but a lot of times I when I’m watching him like it’s not the the shot is it looks okay but it’s a lot of long misses from up close like it’s a lot of hard bricks and what Reesa said even when his form and his mechanics break down this dude’s touch is so buttery that the ball still is going in like they broke it down with him where his feet were too close together like he he just he he was falling away but the touch with Reet is real like that’s oversized three that is now fourman in in today’s game you can play you can play two of those dudes you can play a hunter in that with Reet and have Trey young and it doesn’t really matter who your do I think Alex AR can be solid in the league yeah but like we got to be real the risk with him is he’s truly not an NBA player and if if if he doesn’t come into it like that like you might be able to get a ni Clon level player out of him but think about it are you okay with drafting a guy who ends up being Nick Clon and number one overall it’s the same problem either either way cause I gotta go I
