It’s been three years. We should reach out to his agent, let them work out a deal with another team and make a trade.
He’s a good fit for us; crafty lefty, good handle, passer and lights out shooting from 3, can be a defensive pest.
Saw him live in his summer league stints, he definitely got better in the short time he played but the first game was rough.
I’m glad to see he looks a little bit better here than he was, but was hoping he made way more of a leap.
I wish they showed passing highlights as well.
He has definitely has learned to play off two feet more when he gets into the paint, but it’s not poised like Brunson (who never seems rushed at all)
He’s also still extremely left handed. Almost every drive was left and even the right handed drives where he could have made a layup with his right hand he moved it back to his left and takes more of a shot.
I’m not expecting him to blow my mind but I’m worried for him that the anticipation of him coming over and people hyping him up so much is going to lead to disappointment.
While he looks like he has great touch, decent free throw numbers he took barely above 1 three a game in about 17 minutes.
Now I’m not super familiar with his team so that just might have been there scheme.
All that to say I love the scouting department our FO has put together, every year I’m excited for the draft because they just seem to find at least one productive player
(Except Trevor keels who I’m convinced was going to be in a sign and trade deal for Brunson as compensation and then Dallas backed out and decided to tattle instead)
I’m a draft sicko and I want to see this guy come over and do well.
Ricky Rubio is getting mins over him in Europe. Might as well come here and compete for the backup PG spot
To me he absolutely has all the makings of a quality NBA rotation player with potential for more. Really hope we get to see him in a knicks jersey & it feels like now or never.
