This Miami Heat Offseason Would TERRIFY the NBA | Lauri Markkanen + John Collins Miami Heat Trade

Heat fans do not forget with regards to this off season the absolute worst case scenario do you just run it back no we are making moves this off season and if that means not waiting around for Donovan Mitchell then so be it and in today’s video I’m going to discuss another mock off season that actually intrigues me quite a bit once again shout out to my guy at Big heat energy on Twitter he definitely put a lot of effort into this so go give him a follow and now let’s break down this off season starting with the trade he has the Miami Heat receiving John Collins and Lowry marinin from the Utah Jazz in exchange for Tyler hero Duncan Robinson K ham hakz Jr and two future first round picks and I know what you’re thinking that’s a lot of assets for marinin and John Collins and that’s what I thought at first too so let’s ask Pat Riley hey Pat what do you think of this trade right here hello Pat what are you doing right now oh me I’m just using my new favorite app called odds Jam odds Jam is the top choice for datadriven sports betting tracking over 260 Sports books in real time with Oz Jam you’ll become a profitable better using strategies similar to those of expert level Traders and investors I know that your cheap ass loves saving money so this is perfect for you but how does it work well for one it has an Arbitrage tool which I identifies discrepancies in sport spending lines across the market guaranteeing risk-free profits by spotting these differences wait I’m lost what do you mean by that for example let’s say FanDuel has Derek white over 23s at minus 240 but DraftKings has Derek white Under 23s at plus 340 odd’s Arbitrage tool tells you exactly how much to bet on both sides in order to guarantee profit now if Derek white was playing the Heat well of course I’d bet the over but if not odds Jam would tell me to put $50 on the over and $16 on the under guaranteeing me a $4 profit that that’s honestly an insane feature not only that but odds Jam has a positive EV calculator which essentially optimizes which bets to place on which sports books to do it on and how much to bet W that sounds like a really great tool and on top of all of that odds Jam offers a bet tracker to monitor to your profits across all platforms because responsible betting is legit important so please keep track of your bets by using odds Jam you’ll bet smarter and more responsibly leading to long-term profitability plus they’re so confident in their product that right now they’re offering a free 7-Day trial so ready to try it out use code Anthony to get Anthony what what code Anthony why can’t we get a code go out get out of here Pat listen make sure that y’all use code Anthony to get a 35% discount off your first month they will be linked down in the description below so shout out to ODS Jam Hey listen if y’all been fans of the channel for a while or even if you’re brand new here now would be a pretty good time to like the video and subscribe because the better these videos perform the more interested odds Jam may be in keeping our partnership rolling but anyways let’s get back to the trade as of right now I think that he technically only have one future tradeable first not including number 15 in this year’s draft but I do think that 2031 opens up immediately after the draft so that would make this trade possible then and before we get any further I guess I should acknowledge this where in 2013 Pat Riley literally told Danny a to shut the f up and manage his own team and at the time I loved it right cuz a was with the Celtics we were kicking their ass and it was very enjoyable but over 10 years later it might come back to bite Us in the ass because Danny a is currently the CEO of the Utah Jazz in truth y I still think that might be some of the reason that he didn’t send Donovan Mitchell here but hey a isn’t the GM he isn’t the president and Utah we know that they love their white people and they’d be getting two pretty good ones in this trade so I don’t know but in all seriousness I do think this is pretty good value for Utah and they could certainly do much much worse if they do decide to blow it all up because obviously jameh hakz is a complete stud Duncan Robinson could have won most improved player last year and as much as we joke about Tyler hero he’s obviously still a very talented player who at this point of his career I think may just need a change of scenery but one reason Utah might actually push back on this trade is Tyler Heroes fits with their team they got a couple nice young guards like Keon George had a great rookie season they love him a lot Colin seon a guy that I would actually love on the heat he had a pretty good season with them last year too I think they like him a lot in Utah they had Chris Dunn who had sort of a bounceback last season but he’s a free agent so it remains to be seen if they’re going to resign him they also got Jordan Clarkson but at 32 turning 33 he’s a bit older so maybe they look to move on from him as well and obviously hero could still get flipped to a third team the one that I look at as maybe the most realistic would be the Orlando Magic because he is the exact type of scoring guard that that team can use and they have a lot of contracts to match salaries like the expiring of Joe Engles and mo Vagner guys like that plus they also got some draft Capital to also incentivize the heat to send him over to Orlando and obviously Miami would finally get some size in this trade two guys that also play very well next to bamal particularly Larry marinin because Larry had a great year last year I always feel weird saying that because I feel like I’m saying Larry like Kyle Larry that guy sucks he did not have a good year last year for Miami but marinan had a really good season last year averaged 23 and8 shot 40% from three on eight attempts which is just phenomenal and the reason that was really important for me is because obviously the year before is where he really broke out made the All-Star team and we didn’t know if it was a fluke but to follow that up with the great season he had last year that tells me that he is a legit you know solidified star borderline star I don’t know but he’s he’s one of the better players in this league however he is an expiring contract getting paid only $18 million which is nothing meaning that he’s going to ask for a hell of a lot more come next off season and I think John C is still really slept on too had a nice year last year 15 and9 for him shot 53% from the field and was back up to 37% from three on three attempts a game that’s important because the year prior I think he shot like under 30% and I was hoping that bad shooting season was a fluke and so far it looks like it was because Collins is a guy that so far in his career has been a pretty reliable shooter from outside the ark now the biggest downside with him is he has an absolute albatross of a contract he’s going to get paid $26.5 million next year with a $26.5 million player option The Following season now in that next season he would only be 28 years old so I’m still iffy on whether he would even accept that player option or not because he could decline it and sign for more years like resign on a four-year contract with less money per year or he could accept that player option and then the following season reup for a 4-year deal so I’m not sure whether he would take that player option or not but either way I’m pretty high on John Collins as Eric Reed always points out he is a South Florida boy went to Cardinal Newman in West Palm Beach and he’s talked a lot about you know wanting to come back home to Miami or how much he likes it here and I just think overall him being back in South Florida will make him very happy and obviously have a positive effect on his basketball career as well and on top of that marinan and Collins they’re still well enough under 30 years old so I do think both those guys are pretty nice Bridge of timelines between the bamb build you know future and the Jimmy build win now I will say though considering marketing is on a very good value expiring contract and John Collins is on a very bad value multi-year contract both of those things don’t typically bod well for trade value so I could see the heat even being able to keep a Jame hakz or a first round pick in this scenario the rest of big heat Energy’s mock off season has the Mi heat taking Devin Carter at number 15 in the draft that’s a guy that I’ve already actually posted a whole video solely dedicated to him he’s a guy that I like a lot he’s actually fifth on my draft wish list and also he has us taking Ryan Dunn in the second round who honestly I’m not familiar with I thought it was a skater right I I feel like I remember playing Tony Hawk Underground pro jam on on the GameCube or whatever there was a character named Ryan Dunn but that’s not who he’s talking about cuz I did look up this Ryan Dunn and he was a 66 guard for the Virginia Cavaliers who shot like 20% from three which is not surprising because that Virginia team scores like under 60 points a night but whatever they take a project in the second round and knowing the he it’ll probably work out very well but Devin Carter at 22 years old is a prospect that is ready to contribute right now there is some questions about his shooting but he is an elite Defender very Scrappy he he defines heat culture and he’s also an excellent rebounder for his size he’s 6-3 and averaged over nine boards in college that sounds like something that the heat could use a pretty accurate player comp for Devin Carter is Derek white and as much as we hate him he’d be pretty damn good on the heat I’m not going to lie to you plus his dad Devon Carter’s dad is literally Anthony Carter which means that he literally has heat culture in his blood and that can’t be a bad thing but capping off this mock off season the heat are able to resign Hayward heith who I think is pretty important especially when you’re considering that the heat are losing the perimeter defense that Caleb Martin brought to the table and they’re also retaining alandis Williams who is a straight up bucket and Jamal Kane who I felt like was a amazing two-way player he was very good defensively could shoot the three ball could get to the rim he used this athleticism well so I’m a fan of him and if they can keep both those guys Kane and Alis on like threeyear minimum deals that’s something that I could see working out very well for them in a couple Seasons oh and big heat energy has us signing Andre Drummond to a vet minimum which I’m not a big fan of to be honest but the heat could and have done worse when it comes to minimum big man cuz I’ll take Drummond over Cody Zeller and Dwayne deadmond any day of the week also I I don’t even want to acknowledge he has a signing killing Hayes to to a two-way contract cuz that’s just ridiculous anyways that’s all I got to say for this video so let me know your thoughts down below if this is a mock offseason that you would like to see do you like lry marketing by himself would you like Colin seon cuz that’s the guy that I would love to get thrown in here maybe even in of John Collins somehow I don’t know let me know yall thoughts down below make sure to like And subscribe because I am on the grind to hit 5K Subs by the start of next season and right now we about 850 away so I can’t do without y’all I greatly appreciate the support check out odds Jam Linked In the description below and I’ll see youall next time peace out pull up in City to get that on my wait had a kill them off yeah I need a head space you know this homegrown [ __ ] don’t offend man h

If the Miami Heat don’t land Donovan Mitchell, they could trade Tyler Herro for Lauri Markkanen and John Collins, draft Devin Carter, and sign Andre Drummond as part of their 2024 offseason. 1. DONOVAN MITCHELL IS OPTION #1 ALL IN But if that doesn't workout I like a Terry and Lavine Guard Duo and would give us great Scoring punch

  2. Utah has limited options to use its cap space and limited time to move Lauri. This isn't the time to pay them top dollar. Lauri is due a new deal and that deal would lock us into a total salary without many options going forward.

I'd prefer to send Herro to Utah for the 10th pick plus 20m+ is cap relief. It seems like that 10 pick is the sweet spot to land Carter or maybe a falling Topic.

  3. Tbh I’d trade Jimmy and use the package we receive to go get Lauri. Maybe even try to keep Herro since his trade value is trash rn (and hope he has a better season next year) and try to trade for a guard that doesn’t cost much and fits Herro better, like a Tyus Jones.
If not use Herro and our picks to get Dejounte Murray.

    Terry
    Dejounte
    Jaquez/Jovic
    Lauri
    Bam

  4. I’m all about Collins and Lauri, and I’m open to do the trade for only Duncan and the 2nd round picks, I wouldn’t include Tyler until I know 1000% spida isn’t extending his contract, and Jaime is def off the table unless it’s for a trade for Donovan

  5. You are smoking hard! I know Pat will not trade anyone and will run it back quick and we have 2 draft pick this year so why! Give up JJJ and Hero and Duncan trust me when I predict what will happen.

  6. If not then we go get Dejounte Murray, Lauri Markkanen, or Malik Monk sign and trade for Herro and a future pick from Kings for Malik Monk, Caleb or Highsmith, and/or future 1st picks. Draft a big like Zach Edey or KEL'EL WARE and Hunter Sallis probably most underrated best PG in the 2nd round, Terrence Shannon Jr., ZYON Pullin, Keshad Johnson, or Antonio Reeves. Zach Edey is NBA ready, great touch on offense, can pass out the double, and when you need an easy bucket. Sign Jonas in free agency. I love this teams chance with the new roster after this move. If you trade Jimmy it has to be 5 first round draft pick and 2 young players. Heat are to guard heavy.

Dejounte or Hunter Sallis or ZYON PULLIN, Keshad Johnson, Terry or Malik Monk

    Niko Jaime

    Jimmy Duncan

    Bam Kevin Love

Zach Edey Jonas Val or Nic Claxton

  7. That boyyyyyyy got a sponsorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr….

but for real though….I don't think I would get rid of Tyler Herro for the Collins and Lauri Trade….I feel like Tyler is a solid player thus far in Miami and get you a somewhat more consistent bucket than most other players in the league.

  8. Love the content Ant. Definitely one of the best and most consistent heat channels on youtube right now. Keep it up bro👍🏾
