no porzingis no problem listen like I told you guys before the talent disparity is just too much for Dallas to handle now they came out Dallas Came Out Swinging they was up 13 I was like oh man I know we just not g to just give away a game we were stood their punch and it was like big brother versus little brother that’s what it looked like it was just like you know what I’mma to let him shoot then you know what when they get close I’mma back them down which was Big Brother well Boston is Big Brother versus little brother you know how you just kind of let him play around with them let them shoot and let them go to the you just slap that shot of the air that’s it looked like one of the pros at at the you know Kids Camp KY is kind look like brother to me no no no I mean and then you know the game plan has just been simple all series long skip listen we know Luca is going to get his and you know Kyrie is we don’t know which Kyrie is show up but we’re going to attack Luca simple and plain how do you stop a guy who leads the league and and scoring and does all these wonderful things passes the ball well rebounds well we’re going to attack him and that’s what we did so in the first half our nuclear weapon kept us in the game and I watched this league go from 22 to 9 and then at the end of the first quarter it was a one-point game I believe it was 30 to 31 and I said oh we would stood they run and then halftime it was 50 to 51 still a one-point game yep and your both your nuclear weapons were at full Peak Performance they were out there full superpowers and we only had one show up to the party kept us in the game so I was like oh this is good right here this is great yeah we we we’re only down one and you guys doing this Kyrie Luca and then what happened and then you know we had one super but then Jaylen Brown was at the bar and was like hold on let me put my beard down that’s what he did and let me get to the dance floor in the third quarter in the third quar he he he was at the bar he said let me put my beard down and let let me get on the dance floor and join the party he scored 15 in the third quarter yeah and so listen like I said the talent disparity is too much of a gap between the rest of these guys and Drew he didn’t put up the numbers but you saw the intangibles Derek white with big free throws big threes and the one thing I really loved this uh we got the lead we we went up 21 Dallas made a run and we kept our composure now last year we probably would have lost that game skip but this year I just see that the maturity of this ball club and the plays down the stretch they did everything they needed to do to win and that’s where the Indiana series came in you know so this it’s over Skip it’s over congratulations I mean I mean no team has ever come back where I mean no no you know so 156 and0 yeah Le let’s get there Tombstone ready uh shovels the duck boats are gas we’re gassing up the duck boats right now planning on which day the parade is going to be Kean well skip I will start off by simply saying some of the same things Paul said you talk about yeah Kyrie got the cooking what was he four or seven for in the first quarter knocking down shots left and right they just you know they got that lead but the Celtics never panicked when it was down by 11 they just didn’t but it wasn’t even really the the way that they were scoring didn’t feel like that the Mavs was going to run away with the game to me it was one of those sit me and Paul we going back and forward cooking and showing each other videos cuz it wasn’t one of the situations where you look up and it the Mavs took control of the game early on where you said oh they ain’t gonna never get back into this because it was it was one of those okay they go up by six and then the Celtics will scor then they go up by like eight and then they go up by 10 and the Celtics will score it was like that it wasn’t it did go to 13 at one start the to start the game but it was never you never felt like it was out of control because it was so early I agree it was just it was too ear agree with that and then all of a sudden like Paul said you look up as 3031 then all of a sudden it’s halftime it’s 5051 and then jayen then all of a sudden Jaylen Brown comes in the third quarter and just turns his water on and shuts off Luca and Kyrie’s water the second half 35 to 19 in the third quarter think about it 35 to 19 in the third quarter now if you go to the second if you just go to the second half with Luke and Kyrie in the first half they combine for 37 points they were shooting at 50% okay 45% from three in the second that second half that went to 25 36 and zero there was no way they was going and then to make it even worse they decided like Paul said where is he at you talk about duckboat in the NFL when we find a secondary guy first thing we say is Let’s Go Hunt shoot that duck down where’s he at oh he’s over there that’s the way it looked to me they said where’s that duck 77 at go find him bring him on over here pick and rolling whatever the case make him the primary Defender isolate him isolate him make him oh he doesn’t want to he oh okay he just we gonna just blow right past him Skip and once that was over with and like I told y’all yesterday when he we going to get to him later on but when he was at home he lose a lack of Focus he’s more focused in on the calls than trying to win the damn game he did say that at home literally you’re like going crazy up and down the court like dude if you just play you probably put yourself in a position with the referees to the point where they like we ain’t giving him no damn calls he getting on my nerves so you look at all that and combine that that’s how they lose the game but here’s what I would say too uh the coach Missoula he he was coaching his little tail off man nice little coach you know going up and J kid made some mistakes going in the zone because that’s really I guess they figured that’s the only way we really could help Luca but then hide LCA hide him but even then you allowing him to blow past the zones that’s the worst thing you can do against the Celtics yeah so it is what it is I I I moov from five gaves yeah me too maybe to you know something called a broom m okay I let you go I let you go now it’s my turn this is what I saw last night given all that you just talked about and you do have a really good squad it it is a really nice basketball team to watch play because in the end you guys win with beautiful ball movement it is beautiful to watch it is pick you to pieces ball movement no no selfishness whatsoever whoever’s open gets to shoot it and they all have the greenest light and so far let me get the right stat in the series you are plus 63 from three in the three games that’s a lot of points you have outshot them by 63 points from the three-point line it’s it’s 43-22 that’s Hower got involved he he got going Sam Hower made three in the first half he wasn’t going to go keep going five down even though you’ve only shot 34% as a team from three in the first three games Dallas has shot 28% so it did not matter and you jack them up at a record rate and you’re making enough of them that you’re actually winning this series so far on the verge of sweeping this series shooting three-point shots swe okay so here’s what I saw I saw a 22-2 run because your team is still shaky in the fourth quarter it’s still not exactly sure who it is and your alleged best player Jason Tatum really struggles in the fourth quarter and he was struggling again last night and he missed his first four shots in the fourth quarter okay and I got some numbers for you just to demonstrate what’s been going on in these four four the three fourth quarters that we’ve seen so far Jason Tatum in the three fourth quarters is three of 17 it’s not very good if we go back to the the finals of two years ago we add on those so he’s played nine finals games so far in his career he’s nine for 42 in the fourth quarters of those nine games nine for 42 that’s 21% three for 17 in the three4 quarters this year that’s 18% and it was happening again right before your closing eyes all right because he missed his first four and all of a sudden Dallas got the biggest break they’ve gotten in this series you know what it was freaking Luca fouled out it was the best thing that could have happened to the Dallas Mavericks and I got to tell you I thought when that happened Dallas is going to win this game you did not think that I did think that you can go look at my timeline I tweeted it and I posted a video about it because I was sick and tired of watching Luca dribble the basketball I was sicker and tireder of watching Luca to your point every every Miss shot it’s it’s just like what you know and he didn’t even get touched and he’s doing this and after a while he’s wearing the referees out they’re getting sick and tired of it they’re just like get out of here you know there it was a relief I think for everybody in that Arena to see him go because it was the alltime demonstration of dribble dribble dribble ball hogging I’ve ever seen he was 39% usage rate last night and there were some possessions where I just say just pass the damn ball just just once just pass it to somebody get a little bit of movement going it was just hard to watch about what Kyrie did in the first quarter okay and yet to your point about defense once he fouls out I think well they’ll put an athlete in there somebody who can move a little bit I I wasn’t sure which way he was going to go but somebody’s going to be in there who can play better defense than LCA donic am I right you talking about okay guy who you talking about Tim Hardway Jr yeah get him in there get somebody who’s 6 can move a little bit can move his you called for him yesterday too he play he got a little minutes he called for him yesterday okay but he’s just snake bitten even his last three point he he shot it like I’m going to like force this in I’m going to whe this ball in and it it goes in and out it’s like you’re just snake biter yeah okay so the point is that Kyrie’s having a night Kyrie came to the party after he called himself out after game two and Boston that’s it was beautiful to watch man I’m thinking with 412 left in the game I got Kyrie on fire I got a better defender in the lineup I got huge momentum and Kyrie went right down and nailed a 17-footer and all of a sudden it’s a one-point game and I’m thinking guess what you are in big trouble because if you collapse if this is finished off you are going to be devastated by this cuz it’s going to be celebr you the first thing I said though skip to that is me and Paul FaceTime and we hung up and the lead went like this I said damn I think we just I think we just J yeah all right so we come back down and if we could show this Jason forced up a shot and he missed it badly this is right after Kyrie cut it to one Jason misses a shot and Jaylen Brown to the rescue Jaylen on the spot man guess this is the play of the game to me because he missed it badly and and he’s just he’s always in the right place at the right time okay and I I don’t know who was I think I’m not sure who was supposed to screen him but nobody screened him and this is a killer play because all of a sudden you’re going to have a chance to take the lead and instead he does that y okay and then there’s a an offensive foul call a moving pick call on PJ Washington right there Drew holiday and it was and I thought it was iffy I thought it was a little head shouldered him right in the face right in the head skip get away in the face right in the middle of in the middle of the court in the middle of the court right front of the you can’t hit a guy in the face that’s IQ right there I thought Drew holiday hit him just as hard no that’s in the face I think he was just standing still okay they just had a big it’s not the shoulder it’s the face okay all right that’s it was it was a huge play because then Drew holiday makes a play he dribbles it down inside to the bucket and left hand sweeps it back all the way to the top of the circle to Derek white who just drains it drains it he had made one off the backboard earlier but the crazy thing is is they thought just like I thought Drew holiday was going to do a reverse layup with his left hand but he decided to throw it with his left hand and I know that’s hard as hell to be able to do that hit him right in the pocket where he can just go right step right into that three and nail it yeah cuz I thought he was going up underneath yeah yeah Derek quite makes big shots if you put him on the hot seat to make a shot this is what I was telling y’all when we talked about clutch time look what we got we got about four or five guys that I trust to make a shot or a play okay and that’s the difference this team is man listen at the end of the day we going to say when the Boston cels win this we’re going to look at this statistically and say this is one of the all-time great teams now is it one of the all-time great teams I don’t know yet but statistically they will be but we’re going to look back and say oh they beat this team they didn’t have them hand so moving forward after they get this one for us to determine if this will be an all-time great team they’re going to have to win a couple championships and think about this skip they not even you don’t even see the potential of this team because this whole run without without porzingis in game one they won by the most points with porzingis they did so he scored 18 and 13 minutes yeah so if he plays this series I don’t think it’s close okay you could be right about that I don’t think it’s close all right but to finish this off last night it got closer with a minute 10 left and two-point game Kyrie hits Lively for a dunk and here you come down and all of a sudden it’s a two-point game in jayen Brown did this and this was the the dagger this is the final nail in the 3oh coffin right here this is probably a sweep shot oh oh pump jordanes yeah let me just let me just get to this pick and roll right here who we got right here who is that Tim Hardway Jun oh yeah yeah yeah he been sitting for too many games he cold oh he cold let’s go at him and that was a cold shot that he made cuz that was sweet and it was a swish if you think about it though and all of everything that the Celtics have gone through this year they going to win a championship and this is going to open up the gate for more championships potentially over the next several years because this this young and not young not young in terms of age I’m talking about just young in terms of experience at winning championships they right at the right at The Sweet Spot in their careers Drew holiday may be a little bit older but he ain’t slowing down so if I’m the Celtics you know the first person or or organization or whatever you want to call it I’m sending a big old bouquet of flowers too guess who that organization is think about it I’m going send it to the Portland Trailblazers and the reason I’m going send it to the Portland Trailblazers is because if they would have sent D Lillard to the Miami Heat I don’t know that Drew holiday would have been gone from Milwaukee to Portland to be able to bounce you you think about that think about that if they give Drew holl I mean they give Dame his wish to go to Miami Drew holiday may still be sitting yeah in Milwaukee okay you could send a few flowers to San Antonio for Derek white and you could send a few more to Washington for porzingis yeah that there’s no question you can but but you’re right that that convers that’s the move because that essentially feels as though that put them over the top okay so I got to finish this off I want to know how nervous you were because it was still hanging in at a four-point game and back to back PJ Washington and Kyrie had three point shots that could have cut it to a point under a minute left we oh I was nervous skip I’m not going to that was a wide open one and he just almost burnt my steaks okay I was cooking steak krie had that’s a tough shot no I knew that one I knew that one was going to be messed up CU how shooting it Horford got a big hand in the middle of that one I thought he was going to knock that one down these two cuts it to one point and who knows yeah but I’d rather him take it than Kyrie yeah absolutely yeah but PJ had made well he made three but Kyrie was moving to his right so I Kyrie got it going and them the type of shots Kyrie hit I mean that’s the same shot alord travel hey yeah I was like like oh my God I mean like I said the talent is too much for him the coaching I mean I’mma tell you one thing too skip that we ever talk about the most underrated move the Celtics made and you say Portland and Washington and San Antonio for these trades the one underrated move the Celtics did this summer was hiring Sam Cassel you know why because he’s the only former player over there that the guys are going to respect he’s been on championship teams three of them and I think he’s a guy on the sideline who the coach can really rely on to just come and talk to yeah you know in the middle of the game I think coaching staff is important yeah so when they hired them I was like this is this is an important move for them to your point I’m not sure this team loved Missoula last year but Sam Cassell taught them to love him because he loves him he believes absolutely absolutely and I think that connection between those two obviously you know uh you know they have the other coaches lead you know who’s going to be going to to Charlotte but how about Sam Cassell to the Lakers that’s what I want to know no no we not doing that not interested no we’re not interested above that no we way above that we we too big don’t any don’t want to low yourself to get involved in no we don’t want to lower oursel to them standards okay cuz you know 18 championships to 17 championships we don’t want to lower oursel to that be quiet you know see there you go that’s all right that’s all right hey man listen I got the
