[Music] hey what’s new with the Raptors not a dead quiet just working on guys trying to Fig what they’re going to do with the picks at 19 of 31 I have no clue who they would what’s going to look at or any names they’re keeping very quiet because well because they can’t they can’t do anything because everything what happens ahead of them will determine what their options are I do think they would love to get trade up into the top 10 but I don’t think they’ll be able to pull it off I believe I’m told by a guy that they had a when if they had stayed in the lottery kept that top six pick they had a guy they wanted that they really really liked and thought they would be able to get I think if they could find a way of trade to get that guy they would do it but I think that’s a lot it’s that’s really really hard they don’t have anybody to trade do they no they have well they have they want to trade no they have some they have money to trade and I think find a team that players now the players that don’t no players that that people want but they might you might want one year of Bruce Brown at 23 million one year of Chris bu 10 million you got money you got money to trade that might be uh appetizing into teams who want to mitigate their own salary situation two years out people have been mentioning Brown as a trade commodity since he got here why is he still here because they couldn’t find anybody take they couldn’t find anybody to take his his contract they tried they tried to trade him at the deadline and the Nets and the Knicks had interest but there was there was no return for the Raptors that they thought the value Brown now is this contract the team holds an option on it is worth $23 million and expires at the end of next year so if you if you have if you’re a team that you have a guy making 18 this year 25 the year after that and 30 after that that you you want to get out from those those last two years you take Brown now and you’re out of it and the Raptors assum those last two years and if the Raptors like that player that might be something they can strike in whether that guy exists whether that guy exists I don’t know but I think that’s what they’re looking at right has your thought process changed on how many uh where this team will be next year in the in the standings no I still think they’ll be in a top six yeah not probably five to eight I think they’re they’re they’re a 500 win team they’re 40 win team no chance douy well chance I look at theast East is weak East is bad man it’s bad well slow to the Raptors yeah they’re they’re in that middle work oh they’re bad bad man they’ll be lucky to win 25 games next year I don’t say this very often but Bob’s right okay thank you I am right I I would be I would be a lot of people have to get awful hurt and it would have to be really really regression regression of skill nope it’s right on the table for you to see you can be as much as of a fan as you want be you don’t think you watch let’s say Miami and you have a rookie in the Jack wzv guys you have an old Jim Butler you have bam adab and you have a bunch of guys named hero or Duncan or whatever the guys are you don’t think that Barnes quickley Barrett purle um no I and Dick and AD draic aren’t as good as them no I’m I’m gonna we’re gonna agree to disagree we’ll talk next December because they’re G they’re GNA win a lot more games than 25 games but isn’t is isn’t the isn’t what Barnes does and and him capitalizing on his potential isn’t that the key to all of this 100% he’s got he’s got to keep getting better and and I don’t know whether he’s had three years in a league two have been two of them have been very good one has been very below average yeah which which way will he Trend that’s the question they they think he will I think they hope he will I don’t know about think but they hope I think hope it’s with your management synonymous maybe they expect yeah what what do hear about our Olympic team everybody in line everybody ready to go I mean we’re G have some fun GNA be watching in Paris I’m we a lot of it’s interesting because there’s going to be too many guys yeah I I talk I know that they they are going to send a training camp offer to Andrew Andrew Wiggins whether he takes it or not I don’t know but I think he probably will because he really wants to play he’s going to have to make the team Mike gra had cam bur who had a great year in Spain it is will will accept a camp invitation um I don’t know whether I I’m told now that Zach Edy will play there will be no issues with his NBA team yes he will play that’s a big thing so I there aren’t that many spots out there and a lot of guys that want them I think the camp is going to be really interesting and they’re gonna get we’re gonna have some very very dicey decisions because frankly you only need seven or eight guys to play right they are more at least to Deep with quality guys at almost every position and you need those last guys those guys 8 nine 10 11 12 to buy into not playing yep you do and all of a sudden that’s new to a guy who’s playing 40 minutes a night for his NBA team [Music]
