there was that era that was Jerry West when he came here and he gave us instant credibility and Jerry West ran the show that was it yes that was it and that was a massive positive he made the very bold move to hire uh huie Brown 150 games one Coach of the Year gave us instant credibility and that was the first wave of people really that’s the first time people really got interested in the Grizzlies it is very difficult for me to describe what it was like pre Jerry which was not very long it wasn’t a very long time but he was able to flip this thing around very fast turn them into a winner very fast it did at that time get people interested in the Grizzlies get people in that Arena
