it was fun I think we had a lot of energy all six of us it’s a fun environment it’s always fun to work out for an NBA team so it it was a fun experience how would you describe your game uh I would say high IQ uh playmaking guard uh making plays for myself making plays for others and then just competitive on both ends of the floor uh try to make plays on both ends you are a prolific scorer in college so how do you think that you can translate that ability to the next level uh I think just getting to my spot and then reading what the defense gives me I think just being smart I know I’m not going to be the fastest or strongest guard or guy on the court so just having that IQ and being able to read defenses and get to my spots and how do you see your role kind of changing going from college to the NBA all it’s definitely going to be different I mean College uh had the ball most of the time think when you get in the NBA they already have the guys with the ball so being able to translate my game in a different way and being able to make plays without the ball and obviously just being competitive I think uh having a lot more energy on defense having a lot of energy for my teammates and in general just making plays when I get the ball and you left Belgium as a teenager to chase your dream so how much would it mean for you to make it to the NBA I mean I think since I was a little kid I’ve been dreaming of this so it would be amazing I think when I was little I used to play in my backyard acting like I was an NBA player so making it to this point is amazing and I’m I’m excited for the future and how was it like to work out with fellow Belgian der Ritter today it was cool I mean we’re I know him since we were like kids we played a lot of national team uh together so it was it was fun to have him here being able to talk to him see how everything is going so it’s always fun to have fellow Belgian doesn’t happen a lot so it’s pretty cool and how do you what do you know about the Pacers and how do you kind of see yourself fitting into the team uh I mean I watched him a lot this year obviously Andrew uh is in my agency so watching them a lot and then just seeing how fast they play like their Pace it was really fun to watch and then a lot of young guys and I think everybody is involved in there often so feel like it would be it would be fun to be part of that like being able to make plays but then also playing with pace and then being competitive I think they have a really competitive team so it was cool to watch this year
