hey it’s Friday with the fellas and we’re fixing former Sun problems let’s do it it’s phnx Suns and it starts I think in 30 seconds [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] than [Music] MCO it’s Friday with the fellas and I just found out that bill bellich dating a 24-year-old it’s an OG’s flavoring fr Friday too I’m ASO he saw that’s Gerald why would you Friday the back of that oh my God worst possible way to set that up oh oh my gosh I mean I awkwardly had to sit here to do that cold open and then butchered it so why not butcher the actual open too we’re off show a great start I mean it is going to be one of those Fridays we know how Fridays go on this program Stephen I’m sorry we’re going to just totally ruin your reputation in basketball circles today this is how the [ __ ] goes he’s still got a pristine reputation we got we must protect this man we’ll fix that real quick got us so it’s awkward eye contacted these two seats my friend uh look guys let’s just hop right into it NBA Finals uh very well may conclude tonight or Monday uh that is where we’re sitting with uh Boston leading 3 we’ve talked a lot about the games and and everything surrounding it but today I have one simple question for you guys uh two technically is this the worst finals we’ve had in a while and are you glad that it may come to an end soon uh I would say yeah it it’s it’s right up there with one of the the least um entertaining yeah at least entertaining yeah it’s just I thought it was going to be much better than it than than it has been you know and you know there’s a multiple reasons why but yeah and it’s definitely over this weekend if it’s not tonight it’ll definitely be Monday turn out the lights the part’s over yeah I I’m kind of disappointed because coming into this series I thought it would be a good and competitive series I was excited by all the different storylines and eager to see how you know Luca and Kyrie were going to navigate against this well-rounded Celtics team I thought the Celtics would win I didn’t think it would be this handily especially with porzingis getting hurt again um so it has been disappointing but I do feel like last year’s finals was kind of a dud as well like it was kind of like we knew going in the heat were kind of not a fluke but they were they had to work really hard to get there and the Nuggets were probably going to cruise in that series and that’s exactly what happened so I’m still at least engaged with this one because of all the star players and the name recognition and just the high level basketball that Boston’s playing but yeah it has been a little disappointing obviously yeah it’s been it’s been disappointing or underwhelming rather for me too uh I feel like Boston would have some some U some heavy hitting Haymakers that they would throw but it would come after a feeling out process and there was no feeling out process they said these games are being played on our terms and that’s the end all be all like sa said I think it’s over if not if not tonight on Monday at the latest for for me Atlanta’s been on the clock since the first round ended after four games like I I this playoffs has had less Intrigue to me and part of it is the the Suns obviously but there’s also it it’s just been weird like Boston had ran through the East like and I and I don’t begrudge them because you know the Suns had that path in the west where people kept getting injured in in 2021 it’s just they’ve been really really great it just hasn’t been overly entertaining in that the West was all right but yeah this has been a uh anti-climatic uh final Series where all we’ve had is the Luca storyline and like we talked about yesterday yeah that the everything you’re criticizing we already knew so I’m not going to be too distraught if it ends tonight or on Monday I would have liked to seen Denver play Boston but um but they choked against Minnesota and I thought it was I I would have loved to see uh Denver Take on Dallas as well I thought that would have been a very intriguing matchup but Boston’s just showing you that they just have too much depth too much power too much speed too much outside shooting they’re just a good they’re the they were the best all-around Team all season long and they’re just showing it right now it sucks that it would be a sweep because I thought it would be a little bit more competitive than that I thought Kyrie and Luca would be able to have a couple games together where they just played at such a crazy high level but unfortunately that hasn’t really happened too much and Luca is doing stupid [ __ ] in game three and cost them games and here we are with a a very uh underwhelming performance by by the Dallas Mavericks some I saw a meme where they were like the Dallas Mavericks and they’re like who are you really and they took off the mask and it was the Cowboys scoy hello to killer Rex Jeremy Leo guest step Shakur Amelia thanks for being here we appreciate slices of the big ogs tonight few Big O slices no I’m I’m going to I’m going to the Batman Symphony where they’re playing the 1989 Batman with the music the symphony’s playing I think that would be a we are going to redraft the 2014 NBA Draft a draft which the Phoenix Suns had three picks in and only one guy had even the slightest amount of impact on the franchise so Gerald do you want to remind people what those three picks were yeah so the Suns back then this was back in a time when wow three first rounders in the same draft what a what a privilege that was it really wasn’t when you think about it no it wasn’t because the team was terrible back then but uh back in 2014 there was hope for that team because they were coming off a 48 win season they had three first rounders they had picks at number 14 number 18 and number 27 um and as history showed us not didn’t get a lot of value out of those picks but um unlike the draft the redraft that we did last week there are a lot of good players in this draft um and because the sun’s last pick was at 27 we’re going to be going through the top 30 uh for our redraft this time instead of just I think we did what we do 10 last time 10 last time there was barely 10 guys that deserve to be drafted in that uh in that draft uh so we’re going to take a look here and we’re going to kind of go round robin so Stephen I’m GNA start with you you’re gonna get the number one pick here because you’re the guest at the number one uh pick in the actual 2014 draft was the Cleveland Cavaliers they took Andrew Wiggins but when you’re looking at this I think there’s one obvious number one pick here Tyler NIS no bad going I think it’s rather obvious I’m rocking with the one and only nicoa yic uh special talent uh I feel like if we were having this conversation maybe even two years ago I might have had a little bit more cause to pause I feel like Joel was near that same level and then yish just decided to kick the door down and then stand on top of the door and stump his feet with his animals and all with his horses yes so yeah it’s yic and I think that’s rather obvious p I will only allow it if ESPN still runs the Taco Bell commercial during the pick that’s CRA that is one of the greatest NBA moments ever that a future MVP was drafted during a Taco Bell commercial sorry Max I know no free ads uh number two was the Milwaukee Bucks a franchise altering pick here in Jabari Parker number two Gerald I think I know who you go with yeah poor Jabari it’s not him uh we’re going to go with Joel embiid here it’s I mean it’s like though like Stephen was saying those two neck and neck until the last couple of years it’s felt like um but embiid at number two would still be a fantastic pick here sorry Philly you just missed out on your guy um it would have been fascinating to see how that would have panned out between Joel that year and Giannis um the year prior at number 15 that would have been unreal Twin Towers in the modern age but yeah I think Joel embiid’s pretty clearly the pick there so uh we’re entrusting the process to you as Philly at number three originally took Joel embiid he’s obviously off the board who would you go with it’s a tough one right here because you got about three or four good candidates uh but if you want to go back to a big then I think you’re going to end up going with Julius Randall at number three Julius Randle solid player obviously for the Knicks um you know you got other guys on the board that are that are very very good I’m not taking anything away from them but I just think that Julius randle’s probably a little bit better um than what’s left yeah so that leaves me at number four with Orlando they took Aaron Gordon and I think I would stick yeah with that pick here with the way it went I mean I he was great there he’s been a great piece with uh with Denver I think I would stick with that I know some people may slightly disagree but I think he was good value at four and I think still is at this point so Stephen you are on the clock uh the Utah Jazz selected Dante exom with the number five pick I’m gonna go with a guard but it’s not GNA be Dante XM unfortunately it’s somebody that I certainly enjoyed watching in college because of the capital D and bold and italics uh Marcus Smart okay just all of the all of the defense all of the activity just the Charisma in general it would be uh somewhat of a contrast to Utah for him to go there but I think that would be that would be a solid little fif so Steven likes the D so he’s that is not the headline that’s exactly he said capital D that is wild I told you your reputation Gerald’s on the clock at number six Boston originally took Marcus Smart he’s not there who you going with yeah I mean thank you guys for letting me get Zack LaVine to the Celtics because damn the Celtics man they keep we got to stop letting them get this talent but yeah I feel like Zack LaVine was interesting because a couple years into his career when he was there in Minnesota with Wiggins it was kind of feeling like oh [ __ ] like their better draft pick might have been the dude that they got later in the draft with LaVine with how good he was early on and I know he’s on a massive contract now and so his value is down not a great defender but Zack LaVine at number six in the draft is pretty great value there it’s really good it’s really good so we are now at number seven the vaunted Los Angeles Lakers who took Julius Randall at that spot Saul who are you taking so you know if you go to the board and you and you want try to mimic exactly what they’re doing and going with another big you could but I’m not going to do that I’m going to go with a little bit of a hybrid player um there’s two guys that I’m going between but I am gonna go with Andrew Wiggins okay I think Wiggins um showed you uh that when he is surrounded by good talent that he can Elevate his game uh he was such a key part of the Warriors run to a championship a couple years ago so I would go with Andrew Wiggins in this spot yeah I think it’s a good pick so to recap again uh Cleveland at one went Nicola joic then at two Milwaukee went Joel embiid three Philly went Julius Randle four Orlando went Aaron Gordon they St stood Pat Uh five Utah took Marcus Smart six Boston took Zack LaVine and seven the Lakers took Andrew Wiggins uh we’re at eight now Sacramento originally took nick stasus uh saso yeah yeah SAS uh that was probably the most memorable thing about his career uh as as well there you know poor sauce I it’s tough uh looking at this I think I’m going to probably stay with the you know I don’t know I I think I would probably go Clint capella here okay there we go I think I’d probably go clink capella I was thinking about going guard but I think clink capella is probably where I’d go there okay so that was eight to the Kings CL Sacramento uh went at eight with the there and then nine it was the Charlotte Hornets Noah vonle was the pick Noah Von I’m guessing we’re not sticking with that no uh this one is an interesting spot to be in there still a a solid little portion of names that are still fairly solid now in their careers I think the best pick at this point would be Jordan Clarkson okay just the the prolificity as a scorer uh the the unpredictability with everything that he does he’s certainly ascended into his own somewhat against the eyes a little bit um through multiple stops in his career as well he’s had a nice little nice little space right now with Utah and I think he’s made a solid little name for himself in the league yeah so we’re now at 10 and uh Philly is on the board again and uh as a former Sons coach once said you can’t have too many Alfred Payton unless you’re picking at 10 in the draft and then one too many yeah that was that was rough man cuz the magic made that trade for him and then it was alred pton and I kind of liked him too but uh I’m going to go with Jeremy Grant here that’s a that’s a pretty good two-way pick for me that would have he would have been nice on that magic team back in the day I feel like yeah but yeah yeah yeah yeah it’s Orlando uh so they’ve traded for that pick so Jeremy Grant to the magic at number 10 I think that’s a big upgrade from what they got yeah at 11 Denver uh was on the clock Doug McDermot was the pick I believe this as well right so Bulls at number 11 so originally held by Denver traded the Bulls Doug McDermot It’s all where we going it ain’t Doug mcder I’m guessing it’s not gonna be Doug mcder since you didn’t get Zack LaVine uh or at least you don’t have him now um I’m gonna go with uh Spencer Den witty I think Spencer Den witty he’s a such a good guard you know he’s reliable he’s consistent for the most part um he obviously just murdered us a couple years ago in the play off he was one of the ones that was kind of a sleeper that nobody really talks about in that series about how he just he it felt like he couldn’t miss a shot that whole series so yeah I would go with Spencer Den Wy so at number 12 Orlando held the pick Dario sarich was the selection that went to Philly that went to Philly uh I’m not going sarich I’m looking at this I actually think that Bogdan bogdanovich probably would have been a pick here and with Philly in that the process mindset they could have waited a couple years Suns did take him at 27 he obviously never played in Phoenix but I think it would have made a lot of sense there uh for for them at that pick so we are now at the Minnesota pick at number 13 and Zack LaVine was the pick he’s long gone but where would you have gone Stephen ah now this is where it starts to get interesting there’s a shift from players that are still in main rotations to now starting to get some interesting names popping up um especially seeing who was actually drafted in 2014 you know I’m gonna go ahead and stick with Gary Harris okay Gary Harris my um didn’t go to Michigan State but always been a Michigan State supporter big on time ISO naturally knew about Matt before Matt became a phoenix son’s owner uh Gary big time 3 and D Defender uh in college um was a player that did a little bit more than 3 and D while he was at college and then um transitioned into the league carved out a nice little rooll for himself bounced around a little bit but I think he’s once he’s found some health stability wise he’s starting to um starting to kind of find a little bit of a home now yeah I remember when he got that contract extension from Denver I was like that’s a really good extension and then injuries kind of to the wind out of those sales but uh solid two-way player so the suns are on the clock for me here at Pho uh number four 14 and that was the originally that was the TJ Warren pick which is not bad bad value for that slot but uh I’ve got two players who have played for the Suns on my board here over TJ Warren I’m torn between nerk and Dario shich here and I think I’m G to give the edge to nerk um just based on body of work oh boy 14 they would have just taken Alex Len in reality would you oh we’re not we’re not doing that game doing that we’re not doing that game we’re not we’re not playing the real life game we’re just going who would have been the best we’re doing best players available all right uh so we’re ditching reality and given that they drafted Alex Lynn and how that worked out that would have been the best pick still anyway number 15 was Atlanta Adrian Payne was the selection uh all right peace rest where where are you going here uh yeah you know I’m gonna go with my favorite player on the board okay uh this is a a solely assaul pick because I just want to say this okay I’m going douge mcbuckets there you go dou mcbuckets that’s quality at at that point at the tail end here uh of the lottery so let’s recap again jic one embiid two Julius Randall three Aaron Gordon four Marcus Smart five Zack LaVine six Andrew wiggan seven Clint capella eight Jordan Clarkson nine Jeremy Grant 10 Spencer dwy 11 bogdon bogdanovich 12 13 was Gary Harris 14 Yousef nurkic and number 15 douge mcbuckets Doug McDermot there uh I love that you started the clock on suns fans hating on nerk uh years in advance of of that that’s crazy man unfortunately he’s had a good career for himself if you look at his overall numbers over his career I know people are low on him right now but like come on SO number 16 we’ve got Chicago here on the clock and I feel like we’re getting into the oh that one was traded to Denver okay so we’re getting into the what what really works here kind of kind of phase I I think I’d go Kyle Anderson here okay and yeah I just look at it you’re starting to get into guys who haven’t hung on in the league uh that are left so I think I would go Kyle Anderson at uh number 16 he been a solid utility guy for a couple teams yeah uh 17 the soon to be NBA Champions Boston Celtics uh Stephen I really don’t think you’re going to take James Young here so I wish is who they actually no disrespect to James Young but I’m not uh the one and only Dario Serge is still on the board correct yes he is well he is now no longer on the board I’m gonna go ahead and take Rio okay um player that when he got when he got traded to the sons or when he became a phoenix son I spoke to him having a little bit of Boris Di in his game him being able to connect things and be able to just be a connected piece for the team on both ends of the floor I think there’s a lot of value in Dario he’s car he had a solid career might not have been as good as people expected him to be but I still think he’s been an above average NBA player at multiple stretches in his career yeah it was that year he was the plus minus God for the Suns six man Off the Bench um you get the Suns again I do I don’t I GNA draft the whole Sons it’s a lot of pressure uh no I was thinking lowkey about taking TJ Warren again but I’m going to mix it up for the sake of our redraft uh at number 18 instead of Tyler Andis I’m going to be taking Joe Harris someone who led the league in three-point percentage I think twice at least once um and had a really nice career for himself until the recent injuries so little bit older player that we’re drafting here but I like him at number 18 that’s good value get that shooting right up we now reached the poo poo platter of players left you don’t you don’t want Tyler Anis at this next pi No it’s h number 19 uh Chicago was the original holder of this pick is that who stayed with it 19 went to Denver Denver okay a lot of trades in in this one in particular so Denver at 19 took Gary Harris who would you select oh well since I’m drafting for Denver M you can never have enough of them oh boy Peyton get [ __ ] nuggets triple triple single trip Alfred pton so I’m on the board number 20 Toronto and we don’t talk about Bruno uh that oh poor kaboko two years away from being two years away uh I think I’d take Shabah Napier here at for Toronto really yeah I wow because I don’t really want the Toronto to succeed so we’re we’re actively sabotaging that we reached that point well I just the Raptor having beef with Booker I still hold a I hold a grudge hold a grudge Raptor yeah the most random Petty Grudge to hold I mean I think even Devon Booker’s moved on I don’t believe you you know it was actually Chris Paul that got into it with the with the Raptor not Devin Booker in that situation you know tracks 21 OKC Stephen you’re on the clock they drafted the most OKC name ever in Mitch mcer uh there he had a great rookie year it screams Oklahoma City I will die on this hill he had a good rookie year who are you going with uh like you said we starting to get into the deep waters on this one I don’t think that’s what I said oh that’s what you said excuse me that’s what sa said uh you know I was actually planning on shabz cuz as one of the players I appreciated when he was in college okay coming off the championship like we talked about pre-show I’m g go with Rodney Hood okay Rodney Hood um just can never get the three-point shot consistently feel like that’s kind of what flipped his career from the upward trajectory to plateauing and then ultimately being where it is now um but I think again you get him in the right situation that’s the type of player that could potentially had still been playing now in a significant way as a role player so yeah I’m going with Rodney Hood okay all right I think you could make a case for TJ Warren where the Grizzlies at number 22 I think you could make a case for TJ Warren but I’m going to go with Tory Craig instead he was actually undrafted in this draft um so I feel like him on those grit and grind Grizzlies teams would actually be a lot of fun uh good two-way player carved out a solid career as a journeyman for himself so that’s all you can kind of hope for at the number 22 pick and hopefully the suns are able to get someone similar in this draft in terms of carving out a career for themselves 23 Utah saw originally took Rodney Hood who you going to select well I know this player loves to just never talk he doesn’t want to talk to anybody he’d rather stay in his little bubble yeah he’ll have no problem doing that out in Utah because nobody wants to be out in Salt Lake City so TJ Warren goes to the Utah Jazz I hope you love just being in isolation my God he would be so bored in that is that a pun 20 24 the Charlotte Hornets uh selected shabaz Napier I’m gonna go I think I’m gonna go Dwight Powell here guy who had has had a to the heat yeah oh yeah to the heat who got it from Charlotte I think I’m gonna go with Dwight Powell a 10-year veteran had a pretty solid career so uh you’re on the clock 25 is getting Houston the Rockets yeah oh I think I’m gonna end up going with Nick stsk s Castillo he made the cut he made it three-point shooting okay laser laser coming out of Michigan he had a couple good years decent years then it just fell off okay now three-point shooting translates in any era that’s GNA give you opportunity to make something happen that is true um all right so I could go in a couple directions here I like I feel like Jabari Parker should get drafted somewhere because as much as his career never panned out to what we thought it would be he still played like eight years in the league um and had decent stats for some of them but I’m not going to take him I’m going to take uh Maxi kba he was undrafted going to the Charlotte Hornets giving them some shooting and we know that they loved in the draft they’re white guys that could shoot so Saul you get to save the Phoenix Suns at number 27 but do I now so do I want to take this pick as if I was me or do I want to take this pick as if I’m James Jones I’m concerned you I feel like I want to go the JJ route you could to draft like a 35y old guy no but what I will draft is a development guy that I think could really reach his ceiling with the Phoenix Suns in our development team Klay Anthony early oh I wanted him to be good so bad dude he was athletic you know he had good size good athleticism looked like he was gonna be the real deal yeah 28 Los Angeles Clippers they had taken CJ Willcox I’m GNA take Jabari Parker here 28 great you know the yes his career got derailed by injuries and everything but that’s at 28 that’s a pretty good value there so we got two more picks Stephen you’re on the clock Oklahoma City right now well I’m gonna go with and it’s two athletic guys both of which did not have the stand power that you might hope for I’m looking between KJ McDaniels and Tyler Enis okay uh I’m g go with KJ okay I think KJ is just the athletic ISM part more than anything just being able to buy into the development of somebody with so much raw athleticism and seeing how much you can get out of that I like that projecting forward it’s kind of a project like we talked about yesterday with a couple of spoke about yeah okay all right who are the Spurs taking the round yeah they got Kyle Anderson here originally which was a really good pick for the Spurs end of the round um I mean there are some options here because we still like Tyler Johnson was undrafted Dante XM I don’t think we’ve taken him yet no um who else Langston Galloway undrafted our guy uh I’m probably gonna go with Dante exom just because I feel like he’s been been able to reinvent himself and have a second crack at his career um so at the end of the third round number 30 that’s and he him on the Spurs yeah end of the first round uh him on the Spurs probably his career might have looked a whole lot different wrong pick oh yeah fines onto picky th don’t make an assis of your just just because you might get Giannis if you’re pop there eventually uh so we’re gonna take a break and then go to the second I’m just kidding we not was like wait what I gotta take steep to the airport bye give Jordan McCrae all right uh let’s let’s quickly one than the yes previous redraft we did there uh so that is how it would have netted out if you had hindsight and you made the draft uh redid the draft for 2014 so gentlemen uh we got plenty more coming up and we’re gonna have a fun draft here in just a second but I want to tell or actually you know I’m gonna let Saul do this one do you want to tell us about our friends at oh I I wish I wish I so we all have phones we all use apps we all should know this one uh I don’t know what the order we’re going in is uh so I’m gonna turn to our producer Eric and see if he can show me what the order we’re going in is so stepen won Saul Gerald all right so Stephen uh you are on the clock in our app draft here first one I’m going with big on family big on being in contact with people also like talking business when need be I’m going with well I guess the first question is so if we do the phone app is that just for phone calls is that like is it voicemails it’s it it’s whatever whatever app itself though give me the phone app then I’ll take the phone I think that’s quality the it’s simplistic it’s what the device is meant for but I think that’s great uh I’m GNA go it’s another simple one but web browser whether it’s Chrome Safari I I think we can just say a web browser uh because default that’s where I had to on my phone the most so that’s my number one pick okay that’s where you had the most huh I think you both missed the build on this one uh same simple I’m not overthinking this I just think everybody would rather textt than call and so I’m going with the messenger app like that just that’s number one on the board in my opinion it just gives me anxiety that’s the number one thing that everybody uses on their phone I don’t know how you can miss just to pick up the phone and call me yeah that’s my preferred method a million per but that doesn’t mean that’s the majority so trust me I know all right well this is going to be I’m you guys are going for functionality and I appreciate that I’m going to go for the ones that I spend the most time on uh so I’m going to take Twitter at number4 it’s not what it used to be anymore I miss I missed the old Twitter uh but it’s still I’m basically still addicted to it and I use it all the time for my job and we’re on it all the time pretty much so Twitter number four and then I’m gonna take I’m gonna take Instagram number five it’s another popular one that spend a lot of time on and for my job now spend more time on it than I used to and it’s a good way to keep in touch with people CU we all know Facebook is not uh hasn’t been that app for a while um I’m between two um actually three it’s really tough for me um I want to go with the one that has the most users um in the world yeah which would be Snapchat oh okay I’m gonna go with Snapchat all right so you’ve left a couple here that that I’m very intrigued by mhm hoping to get one on the comeback I’m I’m going against my better judgment here and I’m G to go there’s one I think I should go with but I’m GNA go with YouTube the YouTube app it’s a good one second largest search engine in the world be I was between YouTube Twitter and IG for that g be my next one yeah you got you get back to back don’t you no Steven does back to back you stole my ah you got to be able to keep track of your funds in some capacity M let me get the Chase app want a bank Chicago right so you get a you get a second pick here so you’re you’re on the com back here and I’m also go with the uh camera app okay talk about keep in touch with family being able to take pictures pictures last forever so give me that camera app that’s a good one that’s back to you yeah and I’m still in a dilemma because the other one I’m gonna go with the messenger app the the Facebook Messenger app because oh okay that I get I use that a lot so let’s go with that I guess I’m just going to go with the young kids these days I knew you were so I’m GNA go with Tik tock tick to that was it’s a good pick that was the one I kept debating I feel like I got a pretty good little uh I mean this is definitely a a a teenager centry kind of draft that I got you got the Snapchat One messenger Snapchat Tik Tok it’s wild on your phone yeah well I don’t to be clear I don’t use Snapchat at all but I know my kids do uh what’s your snap that’s all I hear snap what’s your snap I’m like all right um okay so I got back toback now um guys we’ve been woefully selling our phon short in terms of how often we use them for music so I’m going to go with Spotify for my first pick here and then I’m gonna go with I’ll I’ll add a little functionality in there I’ll do FaceTime that’s a a good one pick especially this late my turn yeah oh yes thank God all right now we’re going to we’re going to even this out a little bit uh I’m going again ality yeah email yeah that’s good I feel like everybody uses that every single day cringe it’s another one that I cringe when I think about using it but yes I do every single day you know what what are we on right now we’re on a podcast I’m taking the Apple podcast app because that’s I spend so much time on my drive using that so Stephen you’re you’re up with two well I don’t know where y’all getting y’all apps from if you can’t get to the store I’m I knew somebody would take the that’s quite a that’s a big brain pick there I like that yeah gota play chess so y’all want to those see I think we need to slow down for for our guy oh yeah okay okay so let’s let’s recap what we got so far so number one pick was the phone app for Stephen espo took web browser at number two saw went messages at number three uh then at number four I took Twitter then Instagram at number five after that Saul took Snapchat number six espo went YouTube at number seven Steph went banking apps at number eight uh and then camera at number nine at number 10 espo took Facebook Messenger Saul took Tik Tok at number 11 that’s a good value pick Gerald took Spotify at number 12 uh and then FaceTime at 13 email for SOL at 14 podcast for espo at 15 and the app store for Steven at 16 so Steven is still on the clock for his second pick right or I guess fourth pick his last should be his last pick oh yeah last pick fifth pick that’s right talking about functionality talking about being organized all of that fun stuff let me get the Calendar app okay there you go calendar at you’re you’re a very function guy here 17th overall without it all over the I don’t know man I think he’s gonna get railroaded on this one but you know what I’m getting the best pick with my final pick are you like the best Best Value in this draft okay we’ll see we are all like everything we’ve become dumber with since we’ve gotten a smartphone right yes we can’t find anything without the maps app like Google Maps is the answer here because nobody get anywhere without without the GPS now that was G to be my last pick good pick I’m taking it oh boy okay there’s a lot still on the board yeah it’s a little tough though because they’re all a little neutral to me um there there’s one really good one that’s still out there I think if I had to go with it yeah I’m I’m going to do it I know it’s for the older people but I’m g go Facebook I knew it Facebook I mean listen in the in the final pick Facebook still a tons I mean millions and millions of people still use it that’s the thing that’s crazy is like we all use Twitter so much like that’s our dominant app that we use but a majority of people it’s always Facebook or or Instagram or all the other apps really it’s crazy to see the numbers on that so yeah I think Facebook is a good value misinformation it all is true not like Twitter is the Bastion of of clarity very very true yeah oh Gerald you you wrap it up here there’s one that if none of us pick I’m gonna be pretty surprised here see I I feel like I’m I don’t want functionality I kind of want a fun pick to close things out here uh so I’m going to go old school I’m going to go Shazam I was just looking at I use that more than I think a lot of people would realize because you hear a good song and you’re like what is that song Shazam still use it still love it so one that I think is an egregious one that we all left off Amazon I was looking I honestly use that more in my web browser than on my yeah didn’t think it was necessarily just because of that so I didn’t think for us but I know a lot of people certain demographics use the hell out of I was torn between Amazon the last the Shazam and then calculator and weather but those were kind of boring utility picks so I I was like I thought flashlight too because you wind up but I don’t know if that’s technically an app used to be an app and then they just added like you you know you can just turn your camera I thought about like an actual like like Netflix or something like that I did like do lingo a lot of people love that [ __ ] uh venmo somebody in the chat said Jeremy said in the chat I think that’s uh a good one p goes Myspace yeah no never made never made it into an half youd have to use the web browser okay so for that so a WhatsApp Eli says I think that’s a a smart one I’ve never I’ve never used it but I know it’s extremely popular so I’ve used it a couple of times but I’ve never had the need to use it you know so we’re Eric were there any others can you scroll up I just want to see if anybody else had any it’s a fart app from El love wow Vine I loved vine man Leo with the Ring app I actually you know what I think that could have been a quality last round pick if you know because I’m checking my home you know the doorbell constantly when it goes off and those kind of things I I have Vivant so I didn’t well there you go so that’s uh that’s our app recap it here uh so you can all realize I won this one all right Stephen what did you get we got yours picks up here I did the phone app first of all then I went to banking second thirdly I went to the camera app fourthly was the app store and then lastly I went with the calendar so looking at it super duper functional yeah super duper boring yeah why do you need the app store all your stuff comes pre-installed on the phone that’s true get is true absolutely true for Bing you you had like what comes stock out of the box with this phone what was the best app that that I drafted then the best app that you drafted was probably camera I think the App Store was the best because the the logic that I can’t get any other apps if I don’t have this one app is pretty freaking Sol but but the click rate in the App Store is very very low that’s true my my wife suggested Discord somebody said only fans someone did say only fans uh Flex yesterday said [ __ ] PornHub I was like bro that’s not an app then he had actually he actually searched whether it was you knew I was G to bring that [ __ ] up Eric damn meatloaf meatloaf says Pokemon go that would have been a Lindsay pick oh she would have picked that for sure she’s like one of three people that still uses she would have taken that way too high in the draft probably would have been number one um or she would have picked Netflix America Netflix Japan Netflix Mexico like she’d have picked all the Netflix Tracy my wife again says sheets because she is a spreadsheet junkie so okay uh yeah can we we’ll pull up mine I’ll run through them uh yeah so we’ll go uh web browser YouTube Facebook Messenger podcasts and Maps I give you a hard time and I think three of mine [Laughter] I’ll I’ll go next uh so my picks were um the mess messages messenger app uh Snapchat Tik Tok email and then Facebook okay so I got a little bit all over the place and then mine were let’s see I had Twitter Instagram Spotify FaceTime and Shazam mine were mostly fun picks but ones that I use a lot door Dash and Uber door Dash man that’s a that’s a that would a good one too I was thinking about it but I there was like too many of them there was like door Dash there’s GrubHub there’s Postmates I was like I could have but I think Uber if if I lived in a major city like if I lived downtown in like a New York or something would have been an answer but I I don’t use it as often as as others probably do in a city like that probably would have been a good one because I mean I use it pretty frequently when like traveling or whatever so yeah I think you’re burn on Shazam I don’t think so I think my first four picks are pretty strong way to Twitter probably probably help some like I got some Heavy Hitters Twitter IG and Spotify yeah I can’t I can’t wait for Stephen to just win out of you know just utility out of functionality he’s like hey I I just drafted that those uh guys that are just always on a team that are you know glue guys you know just it
