Just such shameful actions by people who are casuals. We don’t know what kind of number Klay suggested. The only number we know for sure was what was offered LAST year that he declined – but he’s admitted he’s moved past the numbers and wants to stay home.

I’m not shocked. I’m not appalled. Im not angry. Klay is an all time great of my lifetime… I grew up in SoCal in the early 90’s-mid 2010’s. 5 Laker championships. I was never a fan. I wasn’t a rebel or a troglodyte, but the hype around it never consumed me (looking back I absolutely recognize Shaq and Kobe as legends). I moved to the Bay Area in February of 2014. I fell in love with the Dubs and that first chip was extra special… for once I had a team, a new hometown team who brought the trophy home.. we partied all night on Boardway and 19th. Klay was always my favorite player. Though it will pain me to see him in another jersey, what he did for us is cemented and will never be taken for granted. You’re a legend Klay. We love you dawg. If we see you next season it’s game on! 🙏🏼

now they maybe targeting klay this summer
to be honest i’m not sure their franchise landing either former warriors guard was or is going to turn out as well as they think it potentially will
we already saw what has happened with poole & klay obviously is on the downside of his career and imo his best role going forward in his NBA career is coming off the bench playing around 20 minutes
but hey if the magic are willing to pay klay what wants while also giving him a starting role playing possibly around 30 minutes per game then more power to them

I love Klay, but damn I can’t imagine choosing to go to the Magic for a bit more money at the end of your career when you’re already generationally wealthy and the S&P500 alone will make you 10-15m+ a year going forward lol.
