what oh hello everybody and welcome back to Amateur hour Sports where I hope we do have connection here and I hope Wi-Fi is okay I had some issues while the intro is going on but I’m here and you’re here thank you so much for joining me tonight on what very well could be the final NBA well final game of the I was going to say the final watch part of the season it certainly would be because this could be the final game of the NBA season as the Boston Celtics look to close it out once again against the Dallas Mavericks they had an opportunity to do so in the previous game game four they got blown out uh by a lot that was well Boston always has that uh that one in them don’t they but um yeah I didn’t think we’d get it in in a in in a game four but that’s that’s what we got uh I do see it is lagging I apologize hopefully we do get reconnected here and we are all good uh I don’t know why uh Wi-Fi is fine uh just it’s fine all day literally when I went live there’s a problem well I’m listening in the sound the sound seems to be coming through okay uh it’s just the the visuals it’s not so maybe if I stay as still as possible uh we can make it work um yeah grinding through here uh bear with me it’s buffering uh but the sound seems to be coming through okay and if that’s I mean that’s more important than the other if the visuals were good and the sound was off then that’d be well that’d be worse um so yeah we’re here uh appreciate y’all uh let’s have a fun stream and let’s have a a good game um and hopefully along the way the the visuals start to figure themselves out and that isn’t a problem uh definitely don’t want that to happen next week next week is the NBA draft it’s it’s it just it just kept kept creeping up on us and it’s nearly here there is a lot of stuff that uh we’re going to be covering in the next week or so um I hope you guys are excited for the draft I hope you guys have enjoying the draft content um you know one of the big thing is I really like doing the draft content uh I hope you guys do as well uh I will say the viewership hasn’t been quite as high as it has been for previous years for the draft that could just be overall interest in the team is down that could be for whatever reason they’re not they’re not hidden as usual I’m not doing a good job with them whatever it may be I’m enjoying doing the draft content uh had a good time going through Tristan da Silva today if you guys haven’t seen that go check it out the Tristan da Silva video is on the main Channel where you’re watching the stream right now on Wednesday I want to talk about who the raps could draft in the second round and Friday I want to talk about a few guards for the first round next week is the draft we’re going to be pretty loaded up with content next week Monday the 24th I’m going to be going through on a video my wish list for the Raptors the yearly video I do before the draft where I say these are the players I want um don’t why there’s there’s connectivity issues I apologize everything is running swimmingly on my end uh in fact my stream isn’t even indicating that there are issues but uh apparently there are some issues again I don’t know why but hopefully they will you know figure themselves out and uh we can have a we can have a good stream um is there a double okay I’m about to do something that might okay this will either though this might solve it this might ruin it let’s it’s getting better I was going to I was I was going to potentially either crash it oh it looks looks like it’s moving fine uh if you guys that don’t know uh Toronto Heat Wave going on it’s hot hence the sleeveless shirt plus it’s uh all right it’s getting better if there’s an issue I will try something but yeah next week video on Monday I want to discuss uh my NBA draft wish list for the Raptors for the 19th overall pick and the 31st overall pick in a Tuesday video I would like to do a video that goes through the biggest mock draft boards uh from like the biggest media companies and discuss who they who they have the Raptors taking in all those mock drafts to see if I agree with disagree with that on Wednesday the first round I’m going to be live with my work on the board for the top 10 picks so the first round top 10 picks who the conclusion of the top 10 picks I will go live here on this channel to cover the rest of the first round which obviously will include the 19th overall pick where the Raptors are selecting nice little tradeoff uh you know I I can I can help with the with the work Channel help grow that one and in return they’re allowing me to do my own thing for this channel here so I think that’s going to go over great second round of the NB ba draft I’m obviously going to be live for the 31st overall pick I can’t guarantee you I’m going to sit through the entire second round um honestly maybe if bronnie is undrafted I’ll wait and see if somebody does take it stab on him but I’m going to be live regardless for uh Picks 11 through 30 and then I will have a stream for the second round which will at the very least cover the 31st overall pick as far as streams on this channel as well tomorrow’s going to be a great one guys tomorrow I’m going to be doing a full mock draft of the first round going to go through all 30 picks in the first round I’ve actually never done a mock draft before so I’m I I’ve done a mock draft for the top 14 picks I’ve never done a full first round lottery or sorry a full first round mock draft so that’s going to be uh fun to go through tomorrow i’ I’ve actually already made the mock draft I already built out the graphic it looks really cool excited to share that with you guys tomorrow but we’re going to be going through that tomorrow and um Thursday maybe maybe Thursday uh it will depend if there is a game six if there’s game six of the NBA finals this will not be happening but if there is not a game six and I don’t expect it to be a game six to be honest uh we’re going to go through specifically my Raptor’s uh my Raptor’s Big Board we’ll say my big board if I’m the Toronto Raptors uh is that what they called my Raptor board essentially we’re going to go through my picks there um which can obviously Tighten Up by the 24th when I do that video over there uh also this week Wednesday uh which is two days from now uh at noon I’ll be live on the bleach Report app to discuss some potential Raptor trades involving their draft picks and then Tuesday the 25th the day before the draft I will be doing a raptor mock draft will be specifically who I think the rabs will be taking which will be a lot of the same stuff I cover from the Monday video however there will be a much bigger discussion element to hear your guys’ thought so uh yeah basically what I’m saying is there’s going to be a lot of content and I do hope you enjoy the content that I am going to be uh I’m going to have coming your way I do see there still is some lag actually I am getting notified to that now uh the sound from when I checked was fine so hopefully it still is fine but um yeah there’s not much I can do here uh overall yeah I’m I’m ready for a fun stream today hopefully we got a good familiarized with the first round and just I I got nothing for the second round I I cannot help you with any of the players going in the second round I’m familiar with the guys in the the early stages of the second round but I I don’t think it’s out of the possibility that the 31st overall pick well actually I’ll have a full day to prepare for the second round so granted I should be able to get a better idea of who the Raptors want at 31st overall but I I don’t know second round prospects unfortunately so Dak Canadian I will take your word for it on that one there for rck not sure to pronounce that last name and I do not care to try again at the moment but I I will look him up later thank you for alerting me always it’s always good to um be alerted to the players that could be available cuz that that you got like because it makes me look at him and and you know who knows what could happen maybe maybe he ends up in the Raptors there’s me writing his name down for me to look up later how long after the finals can teams make trade draft trades and trades in general I’m not quite sure how that works um actually I I guess once the finals are over you can but I actually don’t know how that works that is a very good question if anybody has the answer when can a team make a trade um when is that allowed is it allowed now is it allow out as soon as game Seven’s over the the series is over you guys you guys let us let us know in the chat help us out why do you want to watch the Celtics win I don’t I if the if the sellers are winning big late I plan on ending the stream before the game ends honestly um yeah I’m certainly not going to stay and watch the trophy or anything I’m going to not even go on my phone for probably forever I don’t know it might be it for me if the Celtics no I I I’m I’m prepared for it so but I won’t go on my phone tonight maybe tomorrow I won’t be going on Twitter you know what my you would I’ve done a great job my Tik Tok is curated to be content that I don’t get anywhere else you know what I mean like like my Twitter is so full of sports and and there people I know my Tik Tok is like there is no Sports on my Tik Tok very little at least um so I won’t see much Celtic [ __ ] and if it is quick swipe then Tik Tok will don’t feed me Celtics content that’s that’s the beauty of Tik Tok as well uh yeah I’m a fun guy I do have of course the sleeve all the way up to the top here um I’ve been wanting to do another sleeve whether that be this arm my right leg or my left leg originally I was set it was going to be my right leg however that is the leg that I’ve had injury issues on and in fact is still swollen a year later from my knee injury so I actually don’t want to do it on that leg anymore because if there are like there’s a potential for more complications there down the line so I’m thinking about doing it my left leg or my right arm for another sleeve I’m not sure yet I haven’t decided but I do have a i i first things first I need to address my need for a Toronto Raptor’s Championship tattoo that is likely going to be my next tattoo I don’t know what it’s going to look like it’s going to contain in some capacity the Larry O’Brien trophy in some capacity is going to contain maybe some sort of skyline maybe the CN power but I don’t know what I’m going to do there yet but I do need to get a Raptor’s Championship tattoo that is long long overdue at this point get a tattoo of Zach Edy if the Raptors draft Zach Edy well they might so I’m not going to say anything but that’d be funny to get a Zach Edy tattoo no I none of my tattoos as of yet have been just like random [ __ ] just to for memes you know I do need to get an ah logo tattoo though I mean amateur ch my life so I do need to get that tattooed into some capacity I’m thinking that’s going to be like near my ankle a little small one behind my ankle or something uh not have a y joining I’m not going to get a forehead one nor would I get one you know back I actually I could see myself getting something here I don’t think I ever will but I don’t I won’t I won’t say I would never ever do that um I would never ever get my my face my face done um nor do I think I would ever do my neck but I I wouldn’t rule it out I’m saying it’s not impossible especially the back but I don’t think I’ll ever do that what I want to do is do another sleeve in some capacity and um that could be my right arm that could be my left leg who knows maybe in 30 40 years I’ve got both done who knows you know what I you know what I mean who really knows I didn’t when I first got my t i I never pictured myself having a a sleeve so you know [ __ ] just happens um they don’t hurt that much by the way if anybody’s curious it’s hammed up to be more than it is uh anyways enough about my tattoos Jason tames eligible for 5e $350 million contract just to not be the first option is crazy huh but he W he might win finals MVP but I think at this point I think at this point Jaylen Brown is the finals MVP I don’t mean that trying to m monum i I mean that for real what do you guys think uh sou will never win another champ with the squad after this year get tatman Brown salary um I don’t know they could probably figure it out tat already makes a lot of money doesn’t he so they’re already that good so uh sorry uh oh sorry uh Phoenix ask how many Euros are you watching I’ve watched every game except for the Denmark Slovenia game because I I had a soccer game uh I’ve watched every other game of the Euros thus far it’s been been a very entertaining tournament always enjoy it love major tournament time one of my it is it is a top three yeah it’s a top three sporting event for me top three sporting tournament for me for sure number one is the the world the World Cup FIFA World Cup um any finals actually don’t really do it for me they wouldn’t make my top three unless the Raptors are involved honestly this is really care about the Raptors over anything whereas in soccer I care about every team I want to watch every team I don’t I don’t really get that as much um but I have watched every actually I missed game four but I did watch every every other game of the NBA finales of course uh anyways how is dinner dinner was uh din was good what I have I had uh leftover leftover beef burgers it was good always Burgers a top two or three food for me so love that England going to win the Euros um you know I can see why they’re the favorites but it’s going to be quite the grind they don’t have an easy road to the final you know not looking at Twitter until the draft well yeah it’s uh it’s going to be a tough one if the Celtics do it honestly nobody will watch try celebration maybe even Celtics fan will tune out any shot for a Euros live stream no shot um pretty much games are 9 12 or three which which during work hours or it’s a weekend where I’m enjoying my weekend and uh honestly I just like I like watching them myself uh no no chance for a Euro live stream unfortunately um maybe one day I can just have fun and do whatever stream but no I don’t think so get the 2022 Celtics NBA Championship Champions tat just because they didn’t win that’d be funny but no I I I I don’t have any just funny tatos yet they all have meaning at this point it goes to Tatum that’s unbelievable it it’ be pretty crazy honestly I agree seak to make a bag this summer seak would get the max I don’t think Indiana would trade him excuse me I don’t think Indiana would have traded for Pascal cakam without knowing that they were going to have to give him the max I believe that they are under I believe they are comfortable with the fact that they are giving him the max contract I believe it is deserved for Pascal congratulations to him even when he does receive it Boston is probably the best contract team in the NBA they aren’t repeat tax fenders and they have their guys under contract control they’ll be favored to repeat they’ll they’ll be favored for next year by the way uh they will be favored for the 2025 NBA championship agreed uh Dallas should have been better should have never been in the finals any other team beats Boston finals I don’t agree Denver had a Denver had a shot porz is playing game one and two Boston are still favored Boston are favored of any any team uh Boston yeah they had porzingis game one and two too they would have been favored over Denver especially with with home court believe that um so yeah Denver had a chance Denver probably been close to 50/50 with them but Boston home court you give them the edge they but yeah they they’d be favored over any team in the NBA it is what it is so have to resign white and Horford well Horford yeah well you say in two years like this this team’s going to be really good again by the way wolves uh would beat Boston so would nuggets and the Clippers would have too I definitely don’t think the Clippers would have I mean Clippers couldn’t even beat Dallas so uh Minnesota Minnesota could have Minnesota could have given him a series but I don’t think they would have done it Mr Bros chees about the seak trade why so I think the trade has worked out pretty well in the end for the Raptors they got the 19th overall pick this year they turned uh another one of the picks into oen and oaji they got a 2026 pick out of it and they’re likely going to get a first out of Bruce Brown so they’re going to get the 19th a 2026 first two good players aaji and O Len and then a first for Bruce Brown potentially like that’s going to be three solid first round picks and two good players like it kind of worked out in my from my perspective um if OG tests for rency that’s going to be pretty comical uh to be honest um yeah that’d be pretty comical could you imagine we’d be clear witness that trade at that point Nicks really voted no for the WNBA not for the W not to bring a team to turn yeah um what only team not to Vendetta although they traded with us still with OG so I don’t know what the deal is there I hate B but I got to give credit to the front office oh for sure Brad Stevens is a is unbelievable at his job unbeliev at its job Clippers with a Hy kawhai sounds like a mythical fairy tale they’re just never healthy you got to understand that they’re just never healthy right uh they’re going to trade Bruce in fre agency uh yeah I I I think that that’s the way bit but um sometimes it’s a blessing and a curse I mean look at Luca donic i’ I’ve never seen Luca donic under so much scrutiny as he is in this series he is’s really getting exposed defensively and he is getting a lot of [ __ ] man that Brian windhorse clip after game three was amazing Brian windhorse is such a legend I I just Envy the people like Wendy who are in such a well-respected position as an NBA analyst Brian windhorse can say anything to any degree about any player and come on off unscathed cuz he is so well respected you know what I mean like like if Stephen A went on that like if you if you win you know you win the money right which is cool if you lose though Boston lose which is also good you know like when when the Leafs uh well the Leafs before their Series against the Bruins I bet like 50 bucks on the Bruins to win the series just just for that reason because like I want I’ll happily lose that money to see the Leafs win that series uh but then it gets to the point where I’m so emotionally invested that before overtime of game seven I put $100 on Boston to win an OT so I’m like I will I will never ever miss that $150 if the Leafs win this and if they don’t win it at least you know I can cover my bab and then some for the night um so yeah emotional Hedges are certainly in my repertoire when it comes to the Deep stages of sporting events and um yeah I mean I W some money on the Bruins at least I wish I didn’t I wish I didn’t boss CR embarrassed embarrassing booing Kyrie Kyrie sucks it was a while ago you’re about to win a championship yeah for me focus on your own team but also like Raptor fans would probably do the exact same thing like imagine Vince Carter came back five years later in the NBA Finals come on Boston hasn’t let me down this series so like what cool you know you got like the the guys watching why are they watching Tatum and donic like what is this signifying what does this mean like like are they they’re waiting for this to be over up the over and under on can AR the over under uh tough for me I I I’m not good at pricing over Enders um I imagine the over under will be like over 2.75 for that game a lot of goals uh yeah I I can’t see listen Canada we’re gonna have fun in that game hopefully good test against the world champions the fact that we’re in a position to play the major tournament is is outstanding Canada come a long that the guy I would prefer will be available at 19th overall therefore they go in that direction for me it’ll all make more sense tomorrow how ever if there is a scenario where the point guard I like at 19 is higher up on somebody else’s board and goes earlier then he would definitely come and play for me at 19th overall that’s um it’ll be clear tomorrow but yes I would be interested for sure uh I’m again I’m sorry Les don’t really feel like sitting through a Celtics Championship that’s all there is to it you know to see brown win Finals MVP over Tatum that’s the only thing that would keep me going the only thing that’s making me sit through this but then I got to watch you know yeah okay I I I I will be straight up there’s no chance because if I if I have to sit if I’m sitting until Brown wins fin MVP I’m sitting through the Celtics celebrating lifting the trophy I’m not watch like I I just like genuinely guys I I I I love this franchise I hate this team I we I I hate this team it is points at halftime or sorry Don has nine points Kyrie has five points at halftime that’s inherently a problem Derek Jones is your leading score that’s inherently a problem the big thing you’ve given up 67 points um Boston are 10 21 from three they’re 52% from the field Tatum is 16 Brown is 15 holiday is 11 uh you’re just not getting stops not really getting any of the stops here uh Dallas aren’t shooting poorly here but the threes aren’t falling to the same degree Boston are super efficient from three right now uh sloppy turnovers from Dallas oh my god I didn’t even realize how bad it was eight turnovers from Dallas you’re losing The Possession battle to a team you just cannot afford to give all these extra possessions to yeah possession battle is crazy uh Boston have three more free throws nine more field goal attempts and they’re efficient on all of it 6 6746 is an accurate reflection here I said early on in the game Dallas are profiting from some extremely positive three-point variants when that cools off they’re in trouble they kol off they’re in trouble this game’s cooked I I really I really can’t see it you know you think Holmes and filipowski are our best bet for big man because they’re floor spacing everyone says we the floor spacing big they seem to like they seem like the best two options I am very low compared to consensus on filipowski I don’t know what cons consensus to me seems like he’s mid like to late first round pick 15 to 25 range I’m low on filipowski um I am the the the the the the Daren Holmes consensus is growing and I am bought in with it however it’s not enough to go at 19 for me again I I I continue to not see the Raptors going for a center and no mock draft is really uh going with that consensus that the Raptors are going is no there’s no consensus building the Raptor going Center at 19th overall uh in fact from what I’ve seen they’re like nobody really thinks they’re going center with either of their picks so for me if you are going Center I think I think you I think khil wear will be available I think evees Missy will be available and and those are the guys I would prefer there Dron Holmes is certainly interesting I think 19 is a bit too high for him filipowski I’m I’m very low on I I just don’t think that guy is going to be able to contribute for a while and I I think that that pick is better sered going in a different direction what I’m getting really upset about is the guys I am projecting like like hoping the Raptors take uh like my favorite Raptors draft prospects who I come up with with the understanding of like they need to be available there are have really built up big cases to go way earlier now like Devin Carter when I covered him in a video a few weeks ago I said this is my guy at 19th overall uh and and from what I’ve seen he should be available most draft boards have him slipping into the 20s Devin C 19 to best option and then now like a recent batch of mock drafts like not only is the expectation Devin cter is a lottery pick some mock drafts have him going eighth overall so that sucks and then there was two guys who I love for the Raptors at 31st overall and now both of them are starting to build up big draft stock to go in the early 20s of the draft so it’s becoming frustrating that uh you know I I I’m you for some guys I’m seeing a lot of a lot of ability there and then then other people pick up on it uh and and run with it because it just kind of destroys their case to go to the Raptors but there there’s still some certain guys I I like who have not built up quite the stock if you are a Boston fors fan like 21 years or younger all you know is winning it’s I know part of it is um I don’t know maybe it’s copium but like does does it become less fun will will a Boston sports fan ever understand the joy of that Raptor’s Championship you know like if the Leafs with him in my lifetime will will there be a fan base there won’t be many there will be some you know like uh you know like the Cubs when they won their their world series of course um Cleveland my God I you know what nobody will ever face the hardships and torment that Cleveland faced before the the Cavs won their Championship props to them but will Boston Sportsman ever have that true euphoric feeling I don’t know maybe they do but maybe that’s copium I I I said in a video on the second channel that the next Raptor Championship if if we ever get it will be even better because we’ll understand what it’s like to get there and how hard it is to get there and how hard it is to get back there because um Tom Brady who happens to be very big to Boston Sports uh he he said that his his favorite Super Bowl was when he won in um 2015 so look he won in 02 04 05 that didn’t win until 2015 he said this was the sweetest because from winning these he didn’t appreciate enough but he knew how hard it was to get back there and get this one so I think the next one will be even better you know uh p and brown will get moved to move top I I really don’t think Perle will get traded uh I don’t think Brown has enough drafts uh trade stock to get to moved into top 10 I don’t see guys I love for the top 10 to to go in that direction with I I’d be pretty surprised the Raptors traded up um it’d be interesting I I’d rather save and get like trade Brown for for a 25 or 26 first round pick I personally would like want to keep purle that that’s been my stance but I I can see the appeal of trading P to move into the top 10 and kind of cancel out the trade almost that we made but I don’t know if this is the right draft to do it I love Miss’s highlight reel but his stats not great at all he’s a non- shooter everyone’s saying there’s Major Drive motivational issues with wear the drive motivational issue with khil wear have been kind of put to bed it’ll be in the back of your mind but like the wide R the wide reports are that any any issues people thought kware could have had are not there anymore based on his workouts based on his interviews based on his combine results that’s it’s it’s not the case it seems with kware with Missy his stats he played only like 20 minutes per game which is the reason his stats don’t look as good as they could when you look at his metrics on a like per 40 possession basis and compared to other players like that his stats are very impressive uh but the stats leave can leave a little bit to be desired for sure uh if you guys do want more information on centers available to the Raptors at 19th overall I did do a video talking about them um last week I did a video it’s titled four centers Raptors could be AA the NBA draft something like that on the channel if you want like my full breakdown on uh some of the centers available to the rate these like a 15 or 16 this is like one of this is the best Jersey Arsenal in the entire National Basketball Association by far um the Anaheim Ducks have revealed that they’re going to go back to their um old somewhat old uniform uh they’re going to do in some capacity what was their original logo it seems which is going to likely look way better than their current lineup so I’m hoping the Raptors start to lean into that as well and go like why are we trying to be so corporate here people want fun jerseys and we had arguably the best jerseys in NBA history let’s go back you know clearly playing for the I to see the better team in this series may have been the easiest route to the final maybe it was easy because they made it look so easy all you can do is beat what’s in front of you I I can’t fault a team for beating who was there um you know they profited from the Bucks hardships this year they profited from a Joel and beat injury injuries to the Knicks it is what it is into like five guys who could make an All-Star case um Five Guys Who start who could make an All-Star case an amazing front office is a great coach what do you know you got an NBA champion out of it potentially looks like it’s over guys can D Dallas mounted a big one in game three maybe they can do it again here though bucks kicking themselves for trading holiday for Dame um that that will like well I I think the manner in which they traded drew it was almost like they were discarding Drew will go down as an error I I don’t think investing in Dame was bad move uh but definitely discarding could take any single player off of Boston not just not even replace him and they probably still win the championship like just take Tatum out of the team and they probably still win the championship Falls too I think I I still believe that there’s a lot of teams that could pass on him and he ends up late first round I still believe there could be a team early who feels like look at the bot at the bottom line is if any of he’s bad he’s 7 foot4 he can protect for and grab boards so we’ll see I H prefer to go in a different direction if I’m the Toronto Raptors but hey I’ll support him if he ends averages what are the averages in this series J averaging 20 points per game 50% from the field 24% for three not a great candidacy uh honestly Jason Tatum averaging 20 points 36% from the field 29% from three oh man Drew holiday 14 points 54% the field 44% from three playing lock down defense man does does Drew holiday get some love I think there’s going to be a big split between votes here I can’t really there’s no clear Finals MVP here here um you know the the Conference Finals I think came down to that game one shot from Jaylen Brown and it was a 5-4 vote ah I I can definitely see any of Tatum Brown or holiday winning it and it wouldn’t surprise me it was I was voting it’d be tough to ignore holiday I’m trying to think of it as unbiased as possible I probably go Brown I I just think he’s been the most consistent performer in the series in the bigger moments specifically when the games have mattered the most Brown has typically shown up but there’s been you know that game three where there’s a comeback was going on we didn’t do anything I probably go brown but again I’m pretty Torn Between all three of holiday Brown tum holiday has really played well Brown has been fine Tatum has been on and off it could easily go to holl it could easy go to Drew I mean I think Tat’s a better player than brown but I I I personally don’t rate Jaylen Brown that highly but he he’s been he’s been good when they needed him in this series for sure yeah I don’t know which way they go 9878 um guys it’s a it’s a 20o game I’d love to W see who wins finals the guys but I got I’m not
