We aren’t signing Quickley until after we know for sure we aren’t operating with cap space. His cap hold is so much lower than a new contract so it gives us more flexibility if we wait.

IQ’s next contract…discussions (They won’t sign him yet as it will affect their cap space in free agency and that could be important if they’re aiming for an MLE target or even going after an RFA i.e. P-Will, I-Okoro)

They can’t officially sign IQ tomorrow but they can start negotiating. We have to wait for start of FA for that (June 30 at 6pm ET).
OTOH I do think we can sign Scottie to a max extension from tomorrow onwards.
