Just to provide context on the upcoming Free Agency. Yes, OG is represented by CAA but his primary agent is Austin Brown, not Same Rose. Don't believe this changes anything but did want to make that distinction.

Revisiting the last Knick CAA client Free Agency – Josh Hart's 2023 Free Agency
Josh Hart, also represented by CAA, still kept his options open during the 2023 Free Agency. It was largely expected that he would opt-out and hit the open market, but he pivoted and took a team friendly approach to opt-into his player option and extend which ultimately helped the Knicks sign Donte Divincenzo. He details how his agent presented him potential interested teams but decided to resign with NY, noting his wife and proximity to family.

Just wanted to bring this context with the Brian Windhorst news. Even with the CAA connections, etc. these players are still going to weigh their options. Josh Hart discussed it last year and OG and his representation are pretty much doing the same.

Uh huh
Let’s hope iHart’s wife and proximity to civilization helps iHart sign a team-friendly deal!
Honestly, I prefer for things to appear legit. If OG didn’t look at all his options, it would only open up questions into whether the Knicks are doing anything improper.
Not everyone is going to take a team friendly deal it’s the nature of the business
In other news, Austin Brown stands at the urinal next to Leon Rose’s son every work day.
The influence Leon Rose has at CAA is probably incalculable, and that’s coming from someone who used to work there.
