I'm a yes. Cap space is largely overrated unless you have a commitment from a star/s that they want to come. Anunoby is the perfect modern day wing and although he might not be worth a max contract, if you have to pay a max to get him without having to give up assets it is a worthwhile move imo.He is 26 so fits around Lauri timeline, in the scheme of championship we would have our no 2 and no 3/4 piece locked in. Hopefully Keyonte or Kessler can step up to be the other two championship level starters then we are just lacking the big number 1 option, where hopefully we can get him in the 2025 draft & 2026 drafts (either with our own pick or trading up) or we'd conversely have the assets to trade for a Giannis etc if he did come available (I know it's a longshot, and I favour doing it via the 2025 and 2026 drafts)

If the plan isn’t to tank I wouldn’t mind it, but I think the plan should be to tank.
Jazz would have to dump Clarkson, John Collins, or Collin Sexton to get capspace. Although not confirmed that the Jazz will do it, the Jazz can, and should extend Lauri this offseason, and give him a bonus 15 million next season, along with a max contract extension, to make him have goodwill with Utah, which would give Lauri an incentive to want to sign an extension immediately, and make him not demand a trade, and make him want to stay here. The Jazz have 38 million in capspace, giving Lauri the 15 million bonus, and then signing our rookies, we’d likely have 12 million in capsace left, so signing OG for 35 million, would likely have to see Ainge convince a team with capspace to take on John Collins for nothing, to open up capspace
If the Jazz extend Lauri, get off the Collins contract, then I wouldn’t be against OG.
