The idea was right. The accumulation of assets was done as well as it could be. Unfortunately, all the assets were blown in embarrassing fashion by a person who was not responsible for accumulating said assets.
One big mistake, they did it so shamelessly and were too open about it.

Better than waiting for Craig Brackins to develop, Kenny Thomas be given a 100 million dollar contract, have our biggest Free Agency signing be Brian Skinner, pinning our hopes on Matt Harpring, Kevin Ollie, Keith Van Horn, Willie Green. People forget how fucking bad this franchise was in the 90s and most of the 00s and early 10s. We weren’t winning a chip with WHITE HOWARD.
