Indicates they are blowing it up = less likely to trade their pick

Chris Boucher for 11, might as well if they’re taking goofy ass offers
hmufammo
Giddey was drafted over Kuminga and Franz Wagner. Imagine Franz on the OKC team rn, would be crazy.
Ssstanimal
Where is the correlation, they are clearly rebuilding
The_Living_L
Giddey is underrated by the looks of it, everytime Shai was out he looked amazing, he just never fit with the team and they used him the wrong way.
kpeds45
How about we don’t trade assets to get more picks in this shitty ass draft?
kpeds45
I don’t think this is a bad trade for them. Giddey has upside. Caruso can’t be on the court for more than 15 minutes before his body breaks down.
nath999
Hardly a fleece, Giddey still just 21. These are the kind of moves teams like the Bulls and Raptors should be making.
PsychologicalHall905
Did someone say Doritos?
cad_internet
Am I crazy to think this is a good gamble for the Bulls? Giddey had a solid rookie season, was even better in his second year, but struggle last season. He’s still only 21.
sor2hi
I think this means demar is gone. But a good trade for the bulls. Kid is talented but needs the ball.
What_Huh_
This makes sense for both teams.
grenzowip445
I think this indicates they think this was a good team pre Lonzo injury… woof

For everyone hating on our FO, understand the true depths of mediocrity that Chicago put themselves into.
WeBelieveIn4
I think the FO is more likely to trade for Zach Lavine than the 11th pick
Belieber_420
I actually like this move by the Bulls. Yes, Caruso is the better player now, but sometimes you just have to gamble on potential, and Giddey has definitely shown flashes in the past and hes 9 yrs younger. It’s not like the Bulls are going anywhere with their current roster anyways
OG_Wan_Annunoby
Imma keep it a stack that’s not a bad trade at all for them twitter opinions are rotting peoples brains .
Giddey is 21 years old and was just a bad fit on OKC. He’s still a good player with upside on a rookie deal.
AnotsuKagehisa
That’s a tough defensive backcourt with Caruso and Dort
cantyouseeimblind
Honestly, i think this is a good trade for the bulls, crucify me 🫡
afniodnifa
Ya Bruce brown for Pat Williams seem possible ngl
AdamLakewood87
Bulls win this trade
octopus86sg
They need a Bruce brown? We could do with 4 first round picks
n3moh0es
how is this a fleece?

I don’t think this is as bad a trade for Chicago as people make it out to be. If they’re actually going to pull the trigger on a rebuild, Giddey is a great piece to have in exchange for a guy you weren’t keeping around. If he makes any sort of improvement in his shooting, this becomes a win for both teams.

This is a brilliant move by the Bulls (for a change). Event peak offers for Caruso would not have likely yielded a player/pick of this caliber. If Giddey was in this draft he’d be a top 3 pick if not #1 outright. They get to have a look at him as probably a lead ballhandler and can then probably sign him to a deal based on his production.
I think Demar is likely gone along with Vooch but it’ll be hard to find a team willing to take Lavine’s contract otherwise he would’ve already been dealt.
