The Bulls had been communicating with rival teams a desire to reshape their roster, league sources told Yahoo Sports, and Artūras Karnišovas’ front office indeed struck a deal that brings the first player back to Chicago via trade in three years. Word of the Bulls’ interest in Giddey had filtered to opposing front offices throughout this past week. Although many executives from opposing teams believed that was a potential construct for a Patrick Williams sign-and-trade — the fourth-year forward is set to reach restricted free agency June 30, with OKC, Toronto and Charlotte already being mentioned by league personnel as possible landing spots for Williams outside of Chicago.

Perfect fit
If we could get him that would be so nice add some size defence and shooting all stuff we need and he fits Scottie’s timeline
It would be funny if the thunder get Williams after stealing Caruso.
Pretty low on Williams, he’s very unathletic for a PF, let alone a SF. He will want to start and I would not start him over RJ.
Personally I don’t see the fit.
Hopefully this is smoke and mirrors. Dick will be good enough to start at some point this year and getting Williams interferes with that.
He just makes so much sense for us! He’s also only 22
With what assets?
Great fit but at what cost? I pretty sure he wants 20 mill plus
Honestly, don’t see how PWilliams fits with us? He can’t shoot, not a play maker, and just defends at this point. He doesn’t seem like a for around Scottie unless he seriously improves on offense, which he hasn’t in his last 4 years
