Good to hear. The reports that we were going to deal a proven playoff guard for the 3rd pick in a crappy draft did not pass the smell test.
We should definitely trade Kennard if we can.
I don’t see a point in trading up in this draft, 9 is high enough tbh.
A lot of folks are going to be upset when we trade back and draft Edey along with getting Drummond/ older big. I for one would love jt.
My ideal offseason:
We deal Kennard for best picks we can get and use the MLE for Naji Marshall, Hayward Highsmith, or Cody Martin. Oubre is also intriguing. Get a minimum center backup. Use the draft to get a center (9 plus next year to trade up for Clingan) or Edey. Would also be interested in trading into the 20s for Dunn from UVA who seems like a defensive beast. I’m fine trading Zaire Konchar and Jake to do the any of the above too.
Honestly, good
But also this could be smoke and mirrors. Good ol’ misinformation season
