I love how Paul reached out to these new generation of Celtics. He mentioned in the podcasts that when he was playing, there was no shortage of Celtic Legends passing down their knowledge and mentoring the new guys. Then he realized that there was no one doing that for the current group (old and some have already passed away) that’s why he and the others started reaching out to the new generation of Celtics. Sam Cassell was instrumental in reaching out to Paul and started being more around the team from last year’s training camp.

I was at the Parade in 08 and he stood in almost that exact spot on the duckboat. He was smoking a cigar, and he leaned over and blew smoke right it my face
