Jimmy Butler “WILL” Be Traded! | Sixers STEALING OG Anunoby From Knicks? | Zach LaVine Trade?

oh boy things are heating up ladies and gentlemen it’s getting spicy Can you feel it less than a week till the NBA draft then we’ll have free agency of course the Sixers will be at the center of it all and today we have Paul George updates Jimmy Butler Zack LaVine ogan and Obi and a whole bunch more we’ll talk about what it means for the Sixers and the NBA but welcome in to Philly take with orb keep on piling through I actually want to start it off though with another move that was made last night if you didn’t see our stream yesterday Alex Caruso traded for Josh giddy kuso now on the OKC Thunder but then we had this move late last night according to WJ Malik monk intends to sign a 4-year $78 million contract with a play option to return to the Sacramento Kings remember couple weeks ago when everybody was mad at me oh Malik Monk’s going to get 25 million per year annually you know you’re crazy why would you pay that and I said the report says up to 25 million what did he get 19 and a half so look Malik monk decided to go back to the Kings that’s on him maybe there wasn’t as much of a market but for 19 million would I have paid Malik monk if he hit free agency absolutely he’s a guy that can start he’s a guy that can give you productive six-man minutes he could even play starter minutes as a six-man and bring that you know combo guard like game in the back court next to Tyrese Maxi at times so look man I like Malik monk shout out to him got a big payday bet on himself now he’s going back to Sacramento but it does take another big time Premier free agent off the board for Philadelphia and things start to get interesting in terms of what they’re doing we heard yesterday that they are apparently done with Paul George but is it true Shams went on the pat MCA show today and he says that PG is still figuring out his future and he has never truly experienced free agency he will have multiple options in the marketplace well that’s obvious and Paul George will be one of the more highly talented players but apparently the Sixers going in a different direction who could they be going for yesterday on the show I proposed it could be Brandon Ingram right that’s a guy who’s been floated out out there and you know the Sixers could give some draft assets sign Ingram to an extension he’s still a little bit younger maybe fits more the timeline even with maxi say you know emb’s not here in you know three years but I personally don’t want to go the Ingram route in terms of giving him that Max extension but we will talk about that more as we move forward but anyway we get a tidbit from Jake fiser of Yahoo sports he says I would not discount the Sixers interest in Paul George until his status is finalized with LA or or elsewhere George has been a to Phillies wish list for some time should the Sixers get a chance to talk with him on June 30th and pretty much the rumors going around today about PG are the reason the Sixers are going a different direction is because they don’t want to wait they don’t feel like PG will have made a decision yet in terms of whether it’s LA or not and they don’t want to be on his time schedule they have a lot of guys to get on this roster they don’t want to waste time but with that comes the emergence of another player we have talked about out and I actually have said before even a couple weeks ago that I would take this guy over Paul George and it might sound crazy and there is a lot of risk but yes Jimmy Butler ladies and gentlemen now listen to this okay one guy Howard Beck puts this out there in the Airways quote Jimmy Butler will be traded rival Executives have been buzzing about it for months for all the obvious reasons Butler is a out to turn 35 with a lot of hard miles and a lot of injuries that was Howard Beck when he asked who will be the biggest star to change teams this summer you remember when Pat Riley made those comments about Jimmy shutting his mouth and not saying as much you know when he wasn’t on the floor for the playoffs Etc you know he’s had injury issues we know in the regular season there’s going to be times where he’s Lolly gagging and it doesn’t look serious but playoff Jimmy is different he can turn it on and I’ve said man you know a lot of risk there I don’t know if I want to give him a four-year Max after next season right he’s got $49 million this year and a $52 million player option he wants one more contract very very risky but in terms of going in this season I know you got to give up draft assets but Jimmy Butler unfinished business with Joell embiid is good buddy then you add Tyrese Maxi into that mix it just it feels like it’s meant to be it really does I know if it actually came together there would be a lot of conversation on both sides but if all else fails and you have the chance to get Jimmy Butler most importantly if he wants to be traded why wouldn’t it be Philadelphia I actually proposed to trade a couple weeks ago on Bleacher Report where I said it could be a three- team deal right the Sixers the Cavs and the heat the Cavaliers get Tyler herro and a bundle of picks they get to kind of shape that new back court and trade off Donovan Mitchell to the Miami Heat Sixers get Jimmy Butler boom perfect three team trade why do I say that because Jimmy Butler is not going to Cleveland he doesn’t want to go there and it doesn’t really fit their timeline then you look at Miami right if they move off Jimmy Butler Pat Riley and that organization doesn’t strike me as the type to say yeah we’re just going to go rebuild and step back no they still want to compete they still want to be there and if they can’t work it out Butler and Riley I think Jimmy would much rather go play with his good buddy Joel embiid along with Tyrese Maxi and try to finish what they should have before and you know imagine a guy like Jimmy who you could actually give the ball to in the fourth quarter to go get you some shots to go make something happen especially a much better Defender again I know he’s slowed down I know he gets injured more but just that dog in Jimmy Butler with Joel embiid and tyres Maxi and finally not having other guys on the floor to you know hog the ball and and not be able to have an offensive game and just kind of mess up the flow man it’s very tempting to want to try that so this is only one guy but then wait we get another comment this was a couple days ago on ESPN from Allan Han quote Jimmy Butler’s days in Miami are over so are these sources are these Whispers going around saying that Jimmy Butler’s done in Miami he’s had enough doesn’t want to deal with it anymore maybe there’s you know some tension with the front office maybe they don’t like Jimmy and his personality whatever it is that’s two two people have said this about Jimmy Butler and where there’s smoked their’s fire look I’m just saying who’s going to be next going to be Wendy jams I’m waiting for that Monday afternoon W tweet boom Jimmy Butler has requested a trade and intends to move on from his days in Miami I’m waiting for it I’m waiting for it we’ll see what happens see what happens let’s move on to the next guy though OG an anobi is quote not thrilled with the Nick’s current offer and will test the free agent Market Per Brian wior quote let’s keep an eye on that most people believe anobi will stay with New York which I also believe but there have been indications he may want to test the market because he’s not thrilled with what the Knicks are offering and then let’s take it back about a month when Nicks Ryder reporter Etc Ian Begley said that OG anobi could be a potential Target for the Sixers again he said this last month he said members of the Sixers have seen anobi as an offseason Target Paul George is also a Target but if the Sixers can’t get Paul George I could see them making a big offer to anobi if for no other reason it would force New York to then match the money good point uh I do believe OG will go back to New York and I would not want to pay him you know 35 to $40 million to be a role player especially he hasn’t played more than 60 games in the last what four or five years other than one time probably not the most durable reliable does have the connection with Nick nurse has played for him before and I think OG anobi is a winning type player it’s again it’s just the durability and the risk factor and the opportunity cost but it’s something you have to kind of field when it comes to all these players you know a lot of them are getting hurt now ogan anobi was incredible he essentially the Knicks didn’t lose with ogan and Obi when he was healthy went out in the playoffs again with injury I would not overpay but this could be another guy that the Sixers could maybe try to steal from New York seems like his intentions are staying with New York and we’ve heard the same thing with hartenstein today after the thunder made the trade for Caruso so a lot of moving pieces but keep your eyes on OG an anobi is kind of one of those sleeper pieces and lastly another guy is Zack LaVine now we saw this yesterday Bulls are active in trade discussions with the Jazz and Sixers surrounding Zack LaVine but then we get a follow-up report from Kyle newbeck of phly he says Sixers position on Zack LaVine has not changed since the deadline Philly is not interested in pursuing Zack lavine’s not a guy completely out on but when you start to take in into account the money the next couple years three years he owed 40 plus million another guy what do you know who cannot stay healthy I just am not too sure on it if the Sixers end up with Zack LaVine I’m not going to feel that good about it and it seems like a better situation for him as Evan sideri says here per Jake Fischer would be the Sacramento Kings Who currently appear the most likely team to lanzac LaVine apparently he’s done in Chicago wants out the Bulls who knows what they’re doing but they got rid of Caruso they’re probably going to unload some of these other guys Kings you can take them I think they’d be a much better fit and uh like I said they just brought Malik monk back Zack LaVine dearon Fox sabonis right let them go build that core it is going to be a very spicy couple of weeks but who do the Sixers land what do they do what if none of these guys are on the move and and and the Sixers are left out in the open do they draft the player do they just try to get role play players Daryl myy better have some plan up his sleeve if not sixer fans are going to be frustrated guess
