[Fischer] I wouldn’t discount the Sixers’ interest in Paul George until his status is finalized with Los Angeles or elsewhere. George has been atop Philadelphia’s wish list for some time — should the Sixers get the chance to talk with George on June 30.

Back to square one because every single rumored target has major problems/has been shot down by various sources.

Fischer has sources but idk if he has good Sixer sources fwiw

    EDIT: Nevermind I’m an idiot.

Morey is 100% just trying to duck the tampering allegations.

I literally have no idea where else we are going to spend all that cap space.

This is kind of obvious? If we still have a max slot on June 30th that means we’ve either made small moves or trade talks for a star have stalled

I may have just trashed you in my last post, but I’ve always loved you PG. You know this

Paul George the missing piece of the process?

Another reminder that every leak is out there because someone wants it out there, and everything is a lie this time of year. The Sixers still want PG. But they’re trying to maintain their leverage and not get tied into waiting on PG or nothing.

Morey isn’t letting the Sixers be part of PG’s opt in calculation. George is trying to maximize his payout. Which I don’t mind, but it shows that he considers his payout more important than getting to a team where he might win a championship.

Heard some speculation that the Sixers are looking at younger guys that will get five or more years with Maxey, not necessarily two or so years with Embiid.
