New York Knicks Trade For Kevin Durant? Julius Randle To The Phoenix Suns?

what’s going on everyone so I saw this trade going around it was making its rounds and thought it was kind of interesting and I wanted to hear your guys’ thoughts and opinions down in the comments below and as always hit that like button subscribe to the channel I’m about to give my thoughts and opinions first off again I want to say this isn’t my trade this isn’t my personal thoughts anything like that I just saw this and I was like hey this could be interesting for both sides want to hear your thoughts and opinions so trade is the New York Knicks receive Kevin Durant now again I know Kevin Durant is probably not getting traded by the New York or by the Phoenix Suns the Phoenix is planning on keeping everybody his trade doesn’t necessarily have to happen today Phoenix starts having a little squander well then they maybe can make this move it’s also just for fun right we’re we’re approaching the draft free agency right some random trades are starting to happen again let’s have some fun so again Nicks received Kevin Durant Phoenix Suns receive Julius Randall Mitchell Robinson Duce McBride and three first round picks Now Kevin Durant I think on the Knicks would make a ton of sense I think he would be a very nice compliment alongside Jaylen Brunson and Kevin Durant to me is kind of like the perfect piece for what the New York Knicks need right because you want somebody that’s not going to take away from Jaylen Brunson you want somebody that kind of helps this win now mode right I said before the injuries and everything that I thought the Knicks were the second best team in the Eastern Conference and I actually think they could have made things kind of interesting fully healthy against the Celtics I still think the Celtics would have won I still think the Celtics were better but I do think that the Knicks had the potential to kind of you know ruffle some feathers a little bit and I do think that if they can get everybody back and be healthy I do still again think that they’re one of the better teams but you know like what happens with Philly right like can they kind of round what is you know Indiana do right like they’re keeping Pascal seak can do they make a push for another piece or something right like a lot can change and so to me I still think that the Knicks are like a piece away from actually being like a true like championship team could you know the dominoes fall your right way and you end up in the the NBA Finals sure of course right but I think to to Really solidify them as like okay these guys are clearly one of the top teams in the league and can win a championship think a guy like Kevin Durant could really go a long way again I know right now Kevin Durant isn’t um available but Phoenix I don’t think is going to be better than they were last year I think I mean they might end up being worse than they were last year I just I don’t think Kevin Durant Bradley Bill and Devon Booker are really going to work I don’t think that that I just think you’re talking about three players that are essentially the same player I’m not opposed to big threes I do think big threes can still work in this league but I think that they need to be three players that really compliment each other you look at all of the the big threes throughout history right that have had success they all like the main three guys all played different positions had different skill sets you know provided different things that the other didn’t like the problem that Phoenix has is they’re essentially three of the same players just at different levels right and two of them Bradley Beal and Deon Booker literally play the same position and have a very similar playing style and neither are big enough to play the three and skilled enough at the point guard position to properly play the point guard role so again I just I think at some point Phoenix is going to have to come to that conclusion of like Hey we’re going to need to make a trade here we’re going to need to trade somebody and Bradley Beal has a no trade clause and even if you could trade Bradley Beal I don’t know how many teams with lineup to acquire him with his injury history the guy hasn’t played like 60 games in 5 years or something like that right and you’re not trading Devon Booker because you know like he’s Mr son so Kevin Durant is probably the guy that you’re unloading and I think you could do worse than you know what what the return would be for Kevin Durant and then for the Knicks to me I think that again this is an no-brainer I think Kevin Durant would be the ultimate compliment alongside Jaylen Brunson and if you can make sure you keep OG I think you’re in great I mean Jaylen Brunson Josh Hart you know OG an Anie Kevin Durant and you know hartenstein I think is great I think you can you know get rid of Julius randle’s been great for them right he he’s had his ups and downs don’t get me wrong he’s had some good years and some not so good years he had you know playoffs kind of been questionable but I do think like to me it’s an no-brainer if you can basically turn Julius Randall into Kevin Durant look Duce McBride has been a real just fun player to watch for the New York Knicks right I’m sure some Nick fans wouldn’t want to trade him be disappointed to see that but if you’re competing for NBA championships or you win an NBA championship I don’t think anybody’s going to Care Kevin Durant if he comes to New York and delivers and win a championship he’s going to I mean he’ll be cemented forever I mean talk about like Chang the perception on him like that’d be insane Mitchell Robinson right Mitchell Robinson solid but again like you have you’re GNA have hartenstein you could go get a quality backup you’ll be fine I think again Jaylen Brunson Josh Hart or D chenzo whoever Kevin Durant OG an anubi and hartenstein good luck seriously good luck beating the Knicks right and then you’d still have you know divon chenzo off the Ben at which I would like divon chenzo Off the Bench and whatever else that you can pull off right can you keep uh you know bu on bonovich and Alec Burke and all these like I I think the Knicks would be tough like genuinely I think that they would be tough and I just think again if everyone can stay healthy good like good luck beating them you know Jaylen Brunson what he’s able to do Kevin Durant because again Jaylen Brunson is best with the ball in his hands he’s the guy that you know is the face of the Knicks he’s the guy that you know is going you don’t want to you don’t want to get another star that’s going to take away from Brunson and take the ball out of his hands and put Brunson in a position to where you know it it it can be clunky or awkward right like you’ve seen teams do that where Kevin Durant he can go drop you give you a 25 on insane in efficiency he’s so good off ball he doesn’t need a bunch of dribbles and stuff and to dominate The Rock in order to to be effective I just I really like the Bruns and KD fit now from the other side of things right because this is a 2way trade right so does this make sense for the Phoenix Suns I do right you’re praying and hoping that Bradley Beal can stay healthy and if Bradley Bill and Devon Booker could stay healthy I think that you know between those two you have enough quality Firepower right Julius Randle gives you another just kind of bully ball option he now would basically be your third option right but he provides you know rebounding another scoring ability playmaking right he his ability to play make plays out of the post and kind of be the initiator if you needed to which I think would go a long way you get a legit you know three you know shot blocking defensive Center which is something that they really need and and you have nerks so you’re not in this position where it’s like man if Mitchell Robinson goes down we’re screwed no like you’d still be in good shape but now you got that guy that can come in and give you a different look be a lob threat but also uh be a defensive Force down in the perimeter right and then you know getting a guy in induce McBride get a legit guy that can play some defense defend the other team give you some depth I do I like this obviously Julius Randall is not Kevin Durant but you got Bradley be and Devon Booker right and it’s it’s about who you can trade I think that this would just make the Phoenix Suns more more well-rounded I think that it would make them more of a team rather than just like hey three guys and a bunch of random guys thrown together and you’d still have all your other dep pie stuff keep Royce O’Neal right like uh Grayson Allen guys like that right and you’d also get three first which now you can use to go and maybe pull off another trade for another P maybe you’re maybe you’re you’re instead of you know keeping Randall maybe you’re taking Randall in those three first and seeing what you can get or maybe you’re taking Mitchell Robinson and and you know dece McBride and those three first and seeing what you can get you know I actually like the idea of Randall on Phoenix with Devon Booker and and Bradley Beal right because I just think again it gives you a guy that can give you a different look you can dump the ball down to play some bully ball rebound he can make plays more importantly make plays and then you know again maybe you can go and and use some of the the picks and pieces that you got to to go and make a splash for another quality depth piece or another starting level guy I I I just I don’t necessarily hate that idea um you know the the again the problem is like what do you do with say you know Devin Booker right do you maybe move him to the three at that point right so you could go like ideally if I was them right I would almost want to I mean you could keep Deuce but you know try to like keep Randall and try to go get like a legit point guard can you take those like three first and you know stack some contracts and maybe go get de jonte Murray that a possibility right like trade three first for de Jon Murray and you know obviously again you got to stack some contracts stuff like that but can you kind of work that out to where you know you’re getting a quality point guard so now you actually have somebody that can really make plays and initiate the offense it’s just name that came to mind um you know or or can you work out I don’t know some type of deal to where you sign and trade for like a TI they need a point guard is what I think they need because then you know like if you could have you know say point guard whoever it is Bradley Beal Devin Booker Julius Randall and nerk I don’t think that that’s terrible right or maybe or maybe you keep Mitchell Robinson and you hope that he can stay healthy and you try to unload nerk right can you take nerk and three first and you know turn it into something and maybe you keep deuce or maybe you’re throwing in Deuce right again I I I like the idea for the Knicks I like the idea for the Phoenix Suns because I just I don’t think Devin Booker Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant are going to work I I you saw the problems you saw the issues this past season you usually don’t go go from getting swept in the first round to all of a sudden winning an NBA championship right and it wasn’t like oh like well they didn’t have Devin Booker or they didn’t have brle like the guys play and they got ran through they don’t have size they don’t have defense they don’t have a lot of things that they need and I just I don’t think you’re going to you’re I don’t think you’re going to be able to trade Bradley Beal without having to give up assets like I don’t think a team is just going to take Bradley Beal out of the kindness of their heart Bradley Beal also has a no trade clause so he doesn’t like he you can’t just trade him wherever like let’s say a team is willing to to take him on right Bradley Beal doesn’t want to go there you’re screwed you know Devin Booker would probably get you the best return right like so Devin Booker I mean you know you could trade him but and go with the Bradley Bill and Kevin Durant which I think that makes a lot of sense too but I think you know again Devon Booker’s Mr Sons right he’s been the face of Phoenix for a while now and how does that look although I do think that there’s an argument to again trade Devin Booker um and maybe get a a huge haul and then you hope Bradley Beal’s healthy and him and Kevin Durant with like a bunch of Ro guys can can do some noise which that might actually be a better option but I just I don’t necessarily think Phoenix would trade Devon Booker although there are there were like some reports after they were eliminated that Devon Booker isn’t like like he’s open to the idea and that Phoenix may be interested to but again Phoenix kind of turned on the noise I don’t think this happens this off season if something like this were to happen I mean obviously maybe there’s little tweaks to this deal or whatever um it’s just kind of like an exploratory deal which is fun right but I do think um something like this I could see potentially happening you know maybe closer to the trade deadline when Phoenix is like uhoh we’re not a very good basketball team team and Matt ISB is like all right it’s time to shake it up but anyway as always this is a discussion pass question let’s do that do you think no um you know the the deal doesn’t work for the Knicks or it doesn’t work for the Suns or know I actually thought that this was a pretty fair deal right I think I mean the suns are getting a pretty big hall for Kevin Durant and then for the Knicks KD and Brunson work like they should I think you’re talking potential Championship but again I feel whatever your thoughts The Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks could really help eachother out to better round out the team. A purposed trade has Kevin Durant traded from the Suns to the Knicks in exchange for Julius Randle and pieces. This trade could make sense for both sides and better round out the rosters.
