For all you punks who think we need to trade Randle I'd like you to refer to the following plus minus lineups.
When Randle is paired with Brunson and OG their net rating is 24.5. It's insane. Both the offense and defense would be rated close to #1 over a full season regardless of the other two players on the court with them.
Randle – Brunson – RJ was a negative 1.0 net rating. That squad would struggle to make the play in.
Many Knicks fans are remembering a distant And ineffective Randle that completely changed after RJ got traded and OG got added.
For those who say Randle sucks in the playoffs, duh, he sucked with any lineup combination with RJ because although I love RJ, he was hugely ineffective as a scorer and playmaker next to Randle.
But with OG it was transformative. The eye test backs up the data that Randle with OG and Brunson is absolutely deserving of a chance to see how they look like in the playoffs together. Randle had a freak injury and we just gotta hope that OG is healthy for the playoffs, we need to trust in the staff to keep them healthy.
A 34 year old PG does not strike me as a better bet than Randle to be productive over the course of the whole 24-25 regular season and being available for the playoffs.
I'm not part of the never trade Randle crowd. But you need to give me a better option to improve the Knicks than trading for PG for Randle, that makes zero sense to me.

RJ and Randle just couldn’t operate together. Happy to see RJ shine in Toronto tho
Objectively speaking the January Knicks were the greatest team ever assembled in the history of Planet Earth.
RUN IT BACK.
If you think about it all of OGs strengths are Randles weaknesses. It’s a perfect fit. If they let OG walk for some insane reasons, trading Randle makes some sense but it allows Randle to just play to his strengths sand drops his defensive assignment.
Lauri would improve our team more than Randle
I have no patience for the “let’s trade Randle” crowd. Dude is all NBA, loves it here, unlocked another level after the trade, and if not for a bullshit injury this team would’ve been in the ecf and I dare say would’ve pushed the Celtics harder than Indiana was able to. There’s literally no ROI high enough to justify trading the man.
Only a casual schmuck who seeks attention and doesn’t actually follow the team thinks Randle should be traded.
