Good for him. Not gonna reminisce about about “What could have been”. Glad he, Jarrett, and Caris are back together.

I’m very optimistic about Jordi, let’s hope we’ve found another great coach this time around.

good for kenny, favorite net coach of all time. Hopefully with donovan likely re-signing, nets can pivot now and go after DJM and BI.

I’m happy for Kenny, JA, Caris, and the Cleveland Nets as a whole. They should be retaining Mitchell as well.

All the other teams consistently get good news or news they are at least doing something/choosing a direction..

And then there’s the Nets, believing they can compete with the right cast on the court… except we are no where near having that so called cast on court. Slowly turning into the new bulls but worse. At least they made the decision to go younger even if the trade was eh.

Happy for Kenny but I think KD and Kyrie drama gave people around here rose color glasses with him. Dude has always been well regarded as a developmental coach (see his time in NY, Atlanta and Brooklyn) but didn’t seem to mesh well with top talent and seemed pretty black and white in his rules.

I specifically remember he had a rule of not letting players go beyond like 38 or 40 min in game and would take them out regardless of the situation of the game. I remember reading a report that he wanted to take Dlo out of the Kings comeback game in 2019 because he was getting close to 38 min played and JV of all people had to convince him to leave Dlo in the game. He’s probably grown since then and has good history with JA and Caris so he should do well for the CAVS but his time with us seemed destined to end the moment KD and Kyrie singed whether they liked him as a coach or not, and in all honesty he wasn’t the right coach for a KD and Kyrie led team.
