You beat me to it Lurk. I love that we are bringing Vlatko back and I hope he is able to play a role this year. He’s a solid player.
He’ll get more salary and we can now get him at a lower cap figure. A win-win
Have to figure out this KCP situation…….if not him then who at the 2? Strawther? Lol.
Beyond that, we need a ball handler off the bench that can play defense and provide a spark to relieve Jokic/Murray. We tried just saying ” Well hopefully the young guns step up this year” last year, and it came back to bite us.
Huge offseason for Booth….work cut out for him.
Hurray! Honestly if he can get back to where he was when healthy during the 22-23 regular season that would provide a huge boost to front court depth. Probably still need a legit backup C, but Vlatko can provide relief for AG and some occasional smallball backup C.
Valtko Cancar gonna stay healthy all year and be the small ball backup 5 that pulls the bench together for once.
Unlike pretty much everyone on here I’ve never really been convinced by Vlatko (I get why he always gets contracts here though), theres a reason why Malone basically benched him the second half of last year. I hope its a cheap deal
