It’s all smoke screens. Its obvious they are trying to trade down but this will be a day they won’t forget if Sarr becomes a star (and I think he will). Sarr is a perfect fit with Trae. Limited offense with Elite Defense. Meet Trae Young! JJ can play the 3 at times. Its a win win for everyone.

Trade washington #1 for #2 and a ’25 #1… they take sarr.
Trade San Antonio #2 for #4 and ’25 #1… Spurs take Risacher, and then Houston takes Sheppard.
We take Clingan and have 2 #1’s in what looks like a loaded ’25 draft.

Perfectly happy to take Sarr and keep him. But if we dont pick him we better trade down to Washington and at least pick up SOMETHING in terms of another pick

Koonin mad a good point / smoke screen that pick 1 salary vs pick 2 salary is $1.6 mil difference. And that reports about Sarr preferring to go 2 do not factor that equation.
