I don’t know much about the Nets this past season (why would I care?) but I believe his dip in production had to do with his morale with the Nets organization. He seemed long gone mentally and I don’t blame him since the Nets are a mess. I remember the last few games of the season they played us and Mikal scored like 8 points or so and he looked out of it. The game ends and he’s just chatting it up happily with the Nova Knicks LOL. When he first got traded to BK he averaged close to 27PPG which I liken it to a recent divorcee looking like the hottest thing on Earth. Reality kicks in and he’s like damn, it sucks here in Brooklyn meanwhile my buddies in Manhattan are having a blast.
Edit: The Knicks also need to bring Ryan back. We need the GOAT 3 second in the paint caller/shouter from the bench.
