One of my criticisms of Devin is that he settles for tough shots too often. He’s an excellent tough shot maker, but he takes a lot of tough shots.
Later in the year, I thought his aggression really started to improve. You can tell, some games, that aggressive Devin showed up and that guy is so much better than settling for tough shots Devin.
It’s not that he can’t get to the hole…and it’s not that he isn’t good in there. it’s that his inclination seems to be to settle like post-injury Paul George. And this shows he needs to really be that aggressive guy more often to get those overall drive numbers up

He’s the one I’m most excited about this upcoming season. This is the litmus test for him, can he be a bonafide second best player to a contender? Frankly, I think his floor right now is definitely a starter to a contending team.
