[Moore] The Bulls are known to be looking to move Nikola Vucevic, along with the never-ending Zach LaVine saga.

Full Quote: I'm skeptical of this given the entire history of the franchise and their desire to constantly stay on a treadmill of mediocrity, but there has been whispers in recent days that the Bulls are really planning on moving younger, with the perplexing trade of Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey with no picks attached as part of that design.

As such, there's thought that DeMar DeRozan might really hit the open market. DeRozan remains one of the Clippers' backup plans in the event that Paul George departs, but with the likelihood of George opting in, the odds of the Compton native finally making it back to California diminish.

The Bulls are known to be looking to move Nikola Vucevic, along with the never-ending Zach LaVine saga. The Caruso trade both helps and hurts those efforts because Caruso's contract was a quality lubricant for teams willing to take on those contracts, which now isn't available.

But the Bulls also don't have to constantly try and pull more assets from interested teams in exchange for adding Caruso. He's off the board.

It's clear that either way the Bulls are positioning Coby White as the future of the franchise.

  1. Only way i see him getting moved is with demar. Demar, vuc, dalen for powell, zubac, mann, pj tucker and maybe a pick?

Is this guy a known insider or just being presumptive?

  3. I really don’t know who’d be willing to trade for Vooch, but I’m going to pray that we work something out because good lord I cannot watch him in a Bulls jersey anymore.

we currently have 0 other centers on the roster besides Sanogo tho lol. If we want to fully go the tank route, we might pick up Wiseman for super cheap, or maybe trade into the 2nd round somehow and snag Flip or Bona

Vuc is fine to keep. He sucks now.

We just have to drop Zach into Detroit’s cap space and thank DeMar for everything and let him find a contender to help along.

The Vuc contract is bad. I don’t know who would take him. He’s average.

I like Coby but I don’t know if he has face of the franchise/superstar potential. Maybe he can become a top 50 player but right now he’s just top 100.

“BULLS HAVE TO BLOW IT UP AND TRADE EVERYONE IMMEDIATELY NOW NOW NOWWWWW!”

    *trade happens*

“Wtf we should have waited longer for a better deal”

Remember all the zach truthers claiming we needed to resign him because you dont want to lose him for nothing? 🤣

Assuming Lavine is traded and demar walks, I don’t actually mind Vuc as a tank commander with the young brigade

Nobody wants 20M contracts for average to above average centers in their 30s. Unless you have a Center who is one of the best in the league, best use of your cap these days is to platoon the center position and keep drafting young and mobile bigs. Center in the NBA is the Running Back in the NFL.
