Good. If they‘re not willing to pay a big price, they won‘t get him. Paul George is still one of the best Two-Way players in the league.

They should of course play their strengths in any negotiations. But this deal ultimately makes too much sense for all 3 parties, everyone knows this, and I think everyone wants this done.
Clippers are not going to agree to a deal that doesn’t significantly better position them for the future, GSW is not going to agree to a deal that doesn’t significantly better position them next season or 2, and there is overlap where both parties can achieve their goals. That’s the bottom line.
This reads as Kuminga + 2 firsts to me.
I think that’s the best deal for the Clippers. It’s worth pushing for it.

The HAUL that Brooklyn got for Bridges really screwed the warriors in negotiations.
I know everyone wants picks for the future, but i still feel like we’re in a win now window. We were still the best team in the league for like 6 weeks when healthy… i think from that standpoint Kuminga is a step down from PG, and the picks dont help us this year unless we re-package them with PJ for someone else… but I’m weary we end up worse for this upcoming season after all is said and done.
