while very happy about the trade, the idea of the thj-less mavs has me feeling a bit nostalgic
timmy is 23rd all-time in minutes played and games played for the mavs in the regular season, but most importantly :
he is the teammate luka has played the most minutes with !
he famously missed the 22 wcf run but apart from that, he's been the non-doncic player we've most consistently rooted for in the luka-era

I’ve been a Mavs fan for a good bit now and if a player represented the brand with professionalism and loyalty, I remember them and remember them purely on the good memories. Tim will be no different. I’ll always remember those first 2 games against the Clippers fondly. Best of luck to him in his next destination!

The last few years have soured the taste a lot, but he really was an amazing shooter for us during the KP era and made an impact early this year.
I’m more than happy he’s gone, but still will remember the beginning of that Clippers series in 2021.

I’ve posted this 10 times on this sub but I just want everyone to remember timmy coming in game 2 against the thunder and scoring 17 in the second half to steal the game. Mavs were in danger of going down 2-0 and probably wouldn’t even of made it to the wcf if it wasn’t for him going off that game. Plus he set a record in garbage time in the finals for the road. Let’s give timmy his props and stop talking about him like he’s a bum just because the team outgrew him.Â
