lost five to2 but it was a strange game all five runs allowed were by Austin gomber in the first inning and after the first inning he threw four Innings with only one hit and the Rockies gave up no more runs so on the surface with the relievers Lawrence and Molina they did all right toia hit a long home run in the ninth they scored a run in the eighth but they just came up short so they lose five to two so Houston scores five in the first nothing the rest of the game the Rockies don’t score till the eighth and the ninth so nothing in the rest of the game for them so the game went along pretty quick um and you know it’s it’s a game where I mean aside from one inning for gomber the Rockies played all right they still lost of course bud black explains um well he explains all of that what can you say about your ability you get Runners on there in the E it looks like you’re finally against well you know we we hung in there I mean gomber Lawrence uh you know did a nice job of keeping us right there you know we just couldn’t get anything going against uh against Brown and then and then the two relievers we got a little bit to Martinez but you know Presley came in threw a good Sinker to to Jones for the double play ball we had another opportunity and and brown got Jones with the strikeout so uh you know we had some we had some opportuni just couldn’t get the big hits like the like the Astro did in the first inning okay okay well that’s uh I guess that’s the way it goes okay okay okay the Rockies play this afternoon at noon so an early game very weird two games set against Houston then they have the day off and three games in Chicago against the pathetic white socks and I can say that because they’re the one team in baseball that’s worse than the Rockies White Soxs are 21 in 60 whereas the Rockies are awesome 27 and 52 Rockies now 22 games behind the Dodgers they’re three and seven in their last 10 11 and 28 on the road run differential is minus1 27 this is your Rocky’s reality check for the day and the Miami Marlins now have a slight lead over them for second worst team in the National League at 28 and 51 so your Rockies are in last place in the National League and Trail only the worst team the Chicago White Socks who they have a three-game set now I don’t know who’s going to go to those games they are over the weekend so perhaps there’ll be free tickets to be given away I’m not sure sure I just know there are games that the Rockies are in there’s moments that they actually are playing pretty well um it is a confounding situation to lose this much while actually having moments that you’re doing all right tough to explain but that’s the case this afternoon we go um see who we got on the mountain this afternoon gber pitch last night so pick Zachary Rish RAR RAR from France on France zare rea that guy he’s 19 years old and um we don’t know anything about like wama we knew everything about Zachary Rish were a little uh little light on uh they’ve got the Wizards taken Alex SAR he’s 19 years old at number two he’s from Australia excuse me Reed Shepard out of Kentucky is projected to go number three to Houston number four the Spurs add Stephen Castle from Yukon he’s 19 years old goodness gracious the Pistons Matas billis uh no idea where he’s from he’s 19 years old let’s see where he’s from all right Charlotte Hawks so we’ve got International guys one the top top five three of the top five guys are international guys I mean this is just a tough deal in the NBA draft we just don’t see these guys in college basketball we don’t know who the best players are in the world who were so young we’re all talking about 19y olds then you got Dalton connect he’s 23 that that seems ridiculous Charlotte Portland Donovan kingham ah you know him finally somebody you know from Yukon National Champion 7 foot2 fella Spurs have uh this is a mock draft tenani Salon again from France France pumping out the hoop Stars Cody Williams is projected from CU to go number uh nine to Memphis number 10 Rob Dillingham point guard Kentucky 11 Chicago Bulls Devin Carter I’m just gonna oh nicolea topic who is from who’s you know big um yic is a a mentor of topic so big fella Serbia um again it’s it’s a lot of wild stuff here man like just players you just have never really heard of and I’m just scrolling thing see if I see any more see you guys they got Zach oh this is interesting they’ve got the Lakers at 17 taking Zack eedi from Purdue big guy from Purdue not bronny and I don’t know Bron’s in the first round at all uh let’s see here yeah I don’t see him so no bronny in the first round kind of begs the question should the Nuggets just go for it there but no they’ve got the Nuggets taking donon Holmes power forward center from Dayton I’ll read the review on him most NBA teams are operating under the assumption that Holmes has received a promise from the nuggets as he canceled a half dozen workouts shortly after the NC withdrawal deadline a scenario that is similar to what we saw with Jaylen picket Holmes is 610 in shoes but when don’t you wear shoes like I’m 5’8 because like when do I walk around in my bare feet has skills is pick and roll finishing floor spacing big man who can pass and create off the dribble giving him an intriguing versatility I love that I absolutely love it um that looks like somebody who could pick up some minutes for joic right away big guy you’re you’re I mean it’s not working out with Zeke Nagi for whatever reason um and at 610 he’d be a little bit bigger than than Zeke a little bit bigger not much so I like I everything about this and he’s a little bit older too he’s almost 22 so everything about it sounds good to me so don Holmes the second could be a Denver Nugget I like it let let’s go through the uh oh God excuse me this has a second round mock too and let me just see if there’s any where where they got anybody else we we can think of um boy I am not seeing any bronny in here okay KJ Simpson there’s speculating going 53 to Detroit okay from uh CU they’ve got bronny James going at 55 to the Lakers and they have the Nuggets picking up wow rck con power forward center from NBA Academy Showcase in Africa wow okay who’s only 18 and a half years old let me read you more about him and there’s nothing 610 232 oo skinny kid from Cameroon that’s a projected draft so the projections for the Nuggets is we’re going to go big guys in the draft um you know you went with guards basically last year with strawther pick it and Hunter Tyson’s kind of a two guard small Ford sort of deal and in this projection you’re going uh big guys because you need to figure that out man you you you you tried zek Naji didn’t work um DeAndre Jordan is I don’t know I yeah I think it’s over for DeAndre in terms of that I don’t know if he comes back or not don’t know if he comes back as a coach no clue what what that future is um and you just didn’t have that guy you didn’t draft that guy didn’t make a move for say Mason plumbley you just did not have that relief for joic not not like you needed and I I like the fact that projection wise at least this is what the um draft Nicks think for the Nuggets to get some sort of backup for joic so I’m a fan of that we will have draft coverage for you tonight here on kill you with truth so we’ll flip it on not not the entire thing we’ll um pay attention to it as it goes but when he gets closer to the Nugget selection uh we’ll throw it on and see what you think and and react to it as it goes later tonight um you let looking at headlines here uh the Knicks trade for Mel Bridges the Nets get a bunch of picks so the Nets completing a massive overhaul their roster trade their best player male Bridges boy it is sad man when you’re in one of those situations but they trade Bridges to the Knicks and um did a deal with the Rockets to return the franchise’s first round picks lost in the James Harden trade so they pick up a first rounder so they’re they’re just starting like completely over again it’s rough man it is rough when you’re in that situation brother it is rough um let’s see anything else of note not really uh Jim Jim slash Nagle who just LED A&M to its first men’s College World Series championship is leaving to become the next baseball coach at Texas he agreed to the deal with the Longhorns just one day after losing six to five to Tennessee and there’s a um a video of him you know what I wonder if I can find it uh because he’s so adamant about being at A&M for the rest of his life and then the next day he leaves for Texas I he just doesn’t leave for another job he leaves for Texas th this is like the the most a lot of these college coaches are such dicks and um let’s see if it pops up here I gotta play for you if I can find it relatively quick oh yeah yeah yeah all right so this is the guy you’re gonna love this hold on about your future in agul so a reporter asks a really good question a really good question because he knows the rumors in the story so here we go the guy just lost and he’s GNA confront him about the situation which good for that reporter really good for that reporter is that right there all right and you got to understand I’m gonna play something for you this guy left the job at A&M he abandoned everybody the day after they lost in the finals of the College World Series and look at his attitude about being an A&M in the question hold on okay with respect to the difficult outcome tonight but with the rumors circulating today about a specific job opening what do you have to say about your future in Agy land yeah I mean I think it’s pretty selfish of you to ask me that question to be honest with you uh but my uh I left my family to be the coach at Texas A&M I took the job at Texas A&M to never take another job again and that hasn’t changed in my mind um that’s unfair to talk about something like that that’d be like you asking Montgomery if he’s going to sign and the draft but I understand you got to ask the question but I gave up a big part of my life to come take this job and I’ve poured every ounce of my soul in this job and I’ve given this job every single ounce I can possibly give it write that coach thank you very much that he leaves the next day he says all of that and he leaves the next day what a disingenuous dick what was it was it was selfish for the reporter to ask a really good question about a dude that had an offer from a rival school that he just up and left and he just threw everything his staff his players any promise that he made just threw it under the bus and he has that kind of attitude and then the next day he takes a job God man sometimes you can’t make this [ __ ] up that is just that is just too funny man he left the next [Music] day oh my God God damn man sorry it it’s just I I I I just can’t stand phonies and and to attack like the the Muggle there as if the Muggle did something wrong that’s a great damn question oh yeah it’s his fault he’s selfish what and by the way why would it be a bad move to ask a player about signing and and leaving school why is that a bad question oh we’re the NBA draft can you be a sports fan I don’t know man I I I guess it depends on who you ask uh did you hear about the 7 foot3 female Chinese basketball player she’s 17 and people are saying she’s going to go to the wnba’s version of Yao Ming I was watching highlights of her this morning she is unguardable now she can’t jump and she can’t run all that fast but she’s 7 foot three and uh it it’s like it’s like a joke it it’s as if you would go into like a a daycare center and start posting up the toddlers unlike a little mini hoop hung against a door so um you know it is wild to see you know what again let me see if I can just find some highlights hold on let’s see if it comes up here the highlights are kind of ridiculous oh yeah here we go yeah I’m sorry 16-year-old Chinese female aware of how much [ __ ] that they must have been given uh the Panthers so that is crazy though hey congratulations to the Panthers man they they earned it uh they showed a lot of courage to um you
