yo what’s going on guys crispy flakes here so okay straight up the kids are sleeping right now so uh we can’t be as hyped as I quite want to be right now about this one but I’m so jealous of your basketball team New York Nick fans uh because you guys just got a fantastic trade by fantastic I I don’t mean that it wasn’t a steep price but it was a fantastic trade according to wge W don’t lie bre breing the Brooklyn Nets have agreed in principle on a trade to send forward Mel Bridges to the New York Nicks for boan bogdanovich his hairline four unprotected first round draft picks a protective first round pick via the Bucks and unprotected pick swapp and second rounder sources tell Espen all picks Ban’s probably going to get bought out so we’ll you know he’s going to be on the buyout market for an NBA team looking for for proud of the Lakers that sounds about right right kind of checks out maybe maybe the heat heat be a good fit too man um but yeah so straight up like quite a lot of picks for him but Mel Bridges to me is the New York Knicks missing piece he is no doubt going to solidify them in my opinion as the team that should be the favorites Celtics oh this put does this put put him in front of the the Celtics no no no no but maybe that Championship fatigue can hit hard it’s hard it’s hard to go back to back you know it just seems like the team that always ends up getting there and winning it the next season in a lot of CAS is just like you know like they’re so good just not as good and uh this this is this is fun man this makes the Eastern Conference very fun so let’s go ahead and you know just kind of check out what uh well let’s look at the Brooklyn Nets first why exactly did the Brooklyn Nets do this um well I’m pretty sure this kind of indicates that claxon’s going to be gone because why would he stick around now you know at this point why stick around unless they want to offer him like a super super max man Brooklyn your guys’s your guys’s management sucks and I’m saying that as a Pistons fan Weaver your manag or was the Wizards your management sucks too cuz y’all just got Weaver which was the Pistons management but uh yeah like just a lot of failure since this team went from New Jersey to Brooklyn start with that that that big you know the weird big three old head trade and just missing out on certain guys and screwing things up with James Harden having Kevin Durant on the same team oh Ben Simmons Fiasco if you get Mel Bridges and you actually get some really good trade offers for him this season and I say this is a bad trade but uh you know like it’s ain’t you you’re going to be a really bad team you don’t no assets outside of the pcks and even those you have to nail and get them right so I don’t know man that’s I guess that’s kind of the rant right like like who who else do they have to really talk about you know shrew cam Thomas shot chucker I mean come on man he’s a 19th man on a championship team D waiting Nicks CL CL probably going to Detroit I ain’t going to lie man not trying for bro I’m just saying man Ben Simmons he just out there playing some Call of Duty Noah Clowney I mean it’s in the name I’m just joking I don’t know who he is here with 5.8 points per game though but yeah man Harry Giles DK Whitehead okay now I’m just saying players okay but I know Mel bridg is like in all realing is here let’s check him out here man brid D the season you know I I think he had a bit of an off year but uh I I thought that mikel’s role on the Brooklyn or I’m sorry on the uh Phoenix Suns was perfect for him I I I think he was the Shawn Marian of the Phoenix Suns and then all of a sudden the Brooklyn Nets wanted Shawn Maran to be tracon McGrady on the Nets you know and it’s like what it’s like no that’s just not as wrong it’s really good man as that third Championship glue guy for a team the D mind greens of the world but uh beyond that Mel Bridges is you know he’s Chris Mill Doan defense check them out here though man that was an extra look at St trying to make this look good um all right so 27 kind of puts him right within the age range with the rest of the New York Knicks um he went to Villanova too I believe didn’t he man but yeah so 20 points a game uh what’s he doing man what else what else uh four or five rebound three assist 37% from three which is historically what about what he averages didn’t really get to the free throw line as much but we know he’s capable of doing it man but regardless you look at season before average 26 points in that second half of or I guess saw that last second third of the season third third of the season with the uh you know when we got traded to the Brooklyn n last season but then again that’s a bit of finess from his side you know playing like a number one option but then not actually being a number one option right something to think about right there as we go through this but uh yeah you look back at the Phoenix susay when he was you know most approved player fourth place there defense of First Defense is second right there um I guess this is probably the best representation for his season right 20 points I guess it’s in total 14 points 13 points yeah I guess I’d like to see him do this this this 2024 season but has a third option man I think that’s the I think that’s kind of what his ceiling needs to be for New York to win at all he needs to be able to average an an efficient 20 points about four five rebounds three four assist to place a good defense he can do it for New York as that third option then I think they’ll be in a good place you know even make like we say like a 2A 2B option with Julius Randall but I do want to pull up New York real quick here too just because I mean it’s good to look at you know exactly they’re getting on their team right so didn’t have to give them any pieces for him um except boan but I mean I I’m a Pistons I don’t what B’s all about I know he I know he was playing some dang uh you know Varsity ball in the Detroit Pistons that hit up that YMCA retirement as soon as he got traded to the Knicks like I’m very familiar that that did happen to you guys and I do apologize um yes where’s he even on the list here man you guys had so many players 26 players wore a New York Knicks jersey last season that should say something man yeah 10 points for boan two rebounds he was making his threes when he was playing 29 games yall also lost oh yeah o pretty smart actually I guess that kind of solidifies that they’re definitely not getting OG back right CU he said he’s going to test free agency I don’t know if this is to attract OG or to say goodbye OG wow man but I mean I it would have been nice to get him B both on the team that would have been nasty that would have been Jaylen Brunson OG who we talking about he stop smoke smoking bro goodness gracious who is it yeah Mel Mel man OG Mel Julius and a center can you imagine the defense with that like OG you have to go back you have to go back you you are perfect it would be one of the best peret defensive teams of all time don’t screw all up like that man it might be too late it might be too late but uh that would be just a very sick team that I would definitely love to see um but no he’s he’s he’s going to be great man so it’s going to be a lot of fun and you guys got him over the Celtics or I mean man Celtics won 64
