[Law Murray] Team source confirms to @TheAthletic that LA Clippers All-Star Paul George will be an unrestricted free agent for the first time since 2018. ESPN first Source close to George is not optimistic that he wants to return to the Clippers. He is a legitimate walk threat. Stay tuned

At least Chris Paul agreed to a sign and trade when he left. For a so-called “clippers fan”, it doesn’t seem like he cares much about the clippers

Damn, really holding out on that 4th year.

Will be interesting to see if Philly is willing to give it to him.

  3. can yall just give him the 4th year and save daryl morey from himself

Good thing is that we are on of the few west coasts teams interest. We can bank on a couple of things. 1) PG’s family is in LA, his mom and dad are at basically every home game. 2) warriors falling out of the trade makes us the only Cali team in the running and Phili is large move

PG rightly called the Clippers bluff, he wants the 4 years, Kawhi’s contract shouldn’t effect his, now they are gonna have to pay or he’s going Philly.

1 extra year isn’t as big a deal as us fans like to make out.

Isn’t y’all owner the richest owner of the NBA? This isn’t supposed to happen lol

Good grief. Get the loser off the team.

Well the choice is either give him the full max or lose him for squat, so things because much simpler…ugh this was always gonna be the most likely outcome but I’m not happy about it.

Let him walk. Bring back Brandon Boston Jr. Actually more sad about losing BBJ than potentially losing Wayoff P

  10. I hate our front office. Everyone blaming PG and fine, I agree but our FO just constantly fucks up. So tired of it

  11. Well he would leak that if he wants his max. But yeah if they want to keep him I guess they need to pay him. If he walks he is inconvenienced whereas we are fucked. I think we are fucked anyway but I imagine the foregoing is how the Clippers would see it.

So Kawhi gets 3 years and PG decides he deserves 4? Guy is soft as hell

  13. WadeCountyClutch

If it’s any consolation the sixers will overpay him
Like they did Tobias Harris and we know how that went?

I really can’t see the front office blinking on the fourth year; PG opting out makes it feel very likely he is back

  15. Propelerate

So he’s either gonna walk for nothing after we traded our future for him and him saying he’d like to be traded for a return, or he’s gonna strong arm us into overpaying him.

    Fuck off PG

  16. floydabc123

Fucking leave. So over this bum. Hope he ends up in Philly, have fun

Can we trade right away if he gets a deal on the market and we match it?
