But I think they could really still use a trade, not for a star per say. They have so much money tied up between Jimmy, Bam, Tyler, Terry and Duncan. I know for a fact that the first two are untouchable, Tyler they love too much and they probably want to see a full training camp version of Terry before deciding what to do with him.
They’re stuck with just signing vet minimum deals and could easily lose their exceptions, I say trade Duncan for a player or two/to shave off some money since he has a PO next season and his contract has proven pretty good value. It’ll be a big hit to the offense but something has to be done.

I mean what can the FO even realistically do, they put themselves into a terrible financial hole with minimal draft picks, mediocre to horrible contracts since 2021, and the only player Miami is willing to trade is Herro who has very minimal trade value.

sometimes I wonder if the stubbornness exhibited from the Heat FO is just their way of justifying working within their financial limitations from Mickey. that and we need to stop giving out bad contracts because G leaguers end up having a good season.
