[Keith Smith] The Boston Celtics tendered qualifying offers to Neemias Queta and Drew Peterson, a league source told @spotrac. Both players are now restricted free agents. Boston did not tender a qualifying offer for JD Davison. He will be an unrestricted free agent.

Hope jd gets a chance somewhere if it’s not here, think he can be a role player somewhere

Isn’t Peterson on a two way? Does this mean his contract will be standard next season?

I expect Anton to take Davison two-way spot

Brad had said earlier that he was hoping to re-sign JD, so this probably signals that he only wants him back on a two-way. The standard QO for a guy on a two-way deal (like Peterson) is another two-way. But since JD was on a two-way with the same team the past two years, his QO is a standard contract.

“Cmon Bama. I told you I’d get you a ring boy. I told you I’d get you one. Uh huuuh”

THANK YOU FOR DREW. I’m a broken recording in preaching that he’s really good but needs floor time, I would love to see him get some minutes and *actually* see if he can develop into a key we need.

How about Jaden Springer? He is on team option as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised if JD is gone. I’m sure he wants more than a two-way at this point but I just don’t think he’s good enough for the main roster
