Welt needs to be petty like presti resign him and trade him to the highest bidder ,Harris & goga (who I don’t mind keeping) to get assets back it don’t gotta be players but picks you can use in a trade

sometimes i wonder how much better the Magic would’ve been this season if they had a healthy Fultz who played like he did last season. Top 4 seed and 2nd round maybe?

Either way it was clear to me Fultz was never going to be the answer at PG even when so many people thought otherwise. I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes. He’s a fun player to watch, but his lack of shooting and inability to stay healthy means he will probably never be a starting PG. Its probably time for the Magic and Fultz to part ways, but I wouldnt mind bringing him back for the vet minimum if thats all it took.

Sad face. Despite the popular opinion on here, I always liked Fultz.

  4. Love MF the person. Even think he’s a good nba player. But his specific skill sets overlaps too much with our younger, better prospects, while his weakness hinders us. Makes sense for us to move on. Hope he goes to San Antonio.

Can’t really imagine him getting a “bigger role” on a team but was happy to have him here a few years. Don’t really think he fits a need here unless he wants to take a super team friendly deal.

  6. CaptainBananafishJr

AB is going to start next season. Hope the Spurs pick up Kelle, will always root for him.

  7. casebarlow

I think it’s the best for him and the team. He’s going to be buried on the bench here and he can be a good backup elsewhere. This pretty much seals that we are getting a PG via free agency or trade.

  8. UTPharm2012

Hope he blows up somewhere.  He is one of those that I loved watching play even though he never was able to reach his ceiling

  9. dwninaho

He would be so nice on the Suns. So would Chuma and Goga if we let them go.

I hate that TOS seemed to have flared up along with a lingering knee injury last season. When Kelle was fully healthy you could see his confidence beginning to bubble. I’d still love to see him come back on a team friendly deal, he has great relationships throughout the building and I think he could still positively impact the roster even if he isn’t playing every night.

  11. SweetFranz

His shoulder and knee are done at this point, should not even be a question to let him go.

  12. MissionImagination98

Loved him, but as the core 3 grow he doesn’t fit with them unfortunately

  13. NAMskalle98

No matter where he ends up, I will always be a big Markelle Fultz fan

  14. VoidTyrant

I like him , but he just didn’t have a spot on the team moving forward.

  15. shoutsoutstomywrist

Sucks that he’s the odd man out in Orlando always liked what Markelle did for the Magic

  16. New_City5200

Salute to Kelle, business aside he was really. A favorite of mine. I hope he lands in a good situation (PHX) and holds it down when he gets on the court.

  17. IsaacFultzGod

Does that mean I need a new Reddit username?

  18. itsameluigee

While we do need the upgrade, he was worth the trade and I admire what he’s done.

Hope nothing but the best for him moving forward

  19. Mr_Wick18

He showed flashes of being the No. 1 pick during the 2022-2023 season. I was so excited to see him build up on it last season, but his stupid TOS came back along with his knee injury. I hope he wins a chip with another team though. Will always root for him.

  20. eelposse

I will always be a fan of Markelle, on the Magic or not.

If not the Magic, where do you think he’d be a good contributor? Maybe he can get good minutes with San Antonio.

  21. Effective_Owl_17

If he could hit a three he would’ve been perfect… but if he could hit a three he probably would’ve still been on Philly. Need a pg for sure now though. Zero playmaking

  22. R_For_the_Win

The players liked Fultz, but he was not consistently available to play.. We need guys that are healthy and can contribute nearly every night. Same goes for Isaac. Nice enough guy and great when he plays, but cannot be relied upon to stay in the lineup.

    It was inevitable

  24. Loose-Animal7305

Will always love Markelle Fultz. Fuck TOS

  25. ChaosZeroX

He’s a great dude, but he’s just not a good player in today’s NBA. I love the dude, but he’s a massive liability on offense

  26. Affectionate-Wish-68

    best for all parties.

he needs the space to find his path to the leap he’s bound to take but this franchise has a trajectory that’s disrupted by the fact that he doesn’t make winning nba plays consistently yet.

i believe in him + bc im at the controls, we’ve won a lot on 2k so I hope it all works out. 🤞🏽

  27. thewrongnotes

Thank god. I’d convinced myself that Weltman was going to re-sign him.

    Glad we’re finally moving on.

  28. Leading-Trifle9069

Tmc live reaction over him being traded to Orlando is worth every penny the magic paid him

  29. NoseApprehensive5154

He needs to be on a team of high basketball IQ players. His vision is uncanny and most of the young guys in the league just don’t see the game like he does. I’ll miss him and will cheer my ass off for Markelle Fultz wherever he ends up. I just love watching that dude ball.

  30. MKFlame7

He gave us something to be excited about during that insanely dull 2019-20 season. Will forever be grateful for that and how he’s help the team’s emergence since then, even if he’s fallen out of favour now

  31. noel1967

We don’t need him anymore. He’s not 100% all the time.

  32. Frankiedrunkie

I like him and will follow his career but this was the right time for him to go

  33. LoudHorse89

Called this the moment AB was drafted and got DV to oblivion

  34. jackphrost22

Bad move. We need a PG before moving on.

  35. clingklop

My favorite player the year before last. Did a windmill right in front of me vs the pistons

  36. 5H4D0WF0X

He’ll be fine, the young man is resilient….hey, he’s made close to 100 million off the Magic so there isn’t a need to feel sad for him. Wish him nothing but the best

  37. theguytomeet

I truly hopes he thrives in his new situation. Heal up Kelle
