[Marang] Wouldn’t be a surprise to see Thybulle’s name come up if DAL is interested in having a long disruptor at the POA. A lot of that would depend on who DAL works into S&T for Klay. If Kleber went out, Green for Thybulle could be a straight swap that made sense for both sides.

I think this would make a lot of sense for us tbh. Green is younger than Thybulle (he’s only 23), a better shooter, and decent defensively.
Also I think he’s really being held back by heliocentric Luka offense—he thrives in transition and the open court, and he’s a pretty solid passer/glue guy in the half court (but he never gets to show it off because the entire offense runs thru Luka and Kyrie while Green is asked to go stand in the corner).
I don’t know if he ever becomes a starting caliber guy, but I think the upside is there and this is exactly the kind of gamble we should take especially since Thybulle is basically a known quantity these days.

Not horrible and makes sense for the longer term. Could be genius long term if Green keeps getting better. Love Matisse but Green still has room to grow. Seems like Matisse wanted to play for Dallas too, as we had to match.
