The standings are obviously projections for the upcoming season. The thing I learned from this graphic is that the worst team has a 48% chance of getting the #5 pick.
Are we really projected to be the worst team in the NBA? I’m not complaining but I feel like our roster is better than Detroit’s at least

I wouldn’t worry. 1. I think were loading up on picks for a potential trade up if necessary 2. I think we’re going to be a bottom 3 team so at worst we’re in the 6/7 range

Brooklyn, Washington and possibly Utah if they pivot to a full rebuild and move Lauri should be the bottom 3.
Detroit, Portland, Charlotte, Raptors, Spurs and Grizzlies should all be better this year and most of them much better than Washington and Brooklyn.
I’d be surprised if Brooklyn isn’t bottom 2, with about 15-19 wins

People that say “the odds are flattened anyway” always underestimate the fact that the worst team is guaranteed a top 5 pick, the 2nd worse is guaranteed top 6, etc. Objectively, to tank effectively, you want to be the worst team.

Are we sure we gonna be worse than the fucking Wizards?

If the worst team hasn’t even gotten the #1 pick at least once, they should change this up a little
