I don’t disagree. Sure we don’t know what kinda coach JJ will be, but even just seeing what snippets I have seen of him since getting hired, he looks more engaged in the job and has a desire to succeed. Thats something I never felt/saw with Ham. Plus we drafted Knecht and he should at least provide decent minutes🤞🏼

Get rid of ham, vando and gabe healthy, max plays over cam. I don’t really see why those things don’t net us at least 5 more wins. No reason to doom about not using an MLE for washed up vets

This team is still very solid, given we added Knecht and some teams in the West have downgraded. I don’t think it’s a championship contender though. I hope Rui Hachimura worked on some of his defensive deficiencies this summer. We should see a bigger role for Max Christie this year, which is exciting. JJ Redick should be able to use Christie and Knecht very effectively.

I love Klay’s game during their dynastic run, I honestly thought he’ll be a Laker someday. Maybe he don’t want to deal with a lot of pressure anymore by playing for the biggest NBA market.

Ehhh idk I wasn’t head over heels for 0-10 Klay, especially for the $ Dallas paid. Max, Gabe & Vando had lost seasons last year so we really have 4 new role players with Knecht.

Our trades don’t even have to be dynamic, we just need a serviceable center who can start games alongside AD, and a 3/D wing. Trading one of Russ/Gabe would be addition by subtraction. JJ wants this roster to shoot more 3’s, we aren’t too far off from having a roster capable of that. If Pelinka can’t pull that off he’s a problem.

True but this is a team that has a short window to try and win a title. This would be fine if we were the Hawks but we have a 40 year old Lebron James and superstar Anthony Davis.
