The LA Clippers announced the signing of 6’10” forward Dinos Mitoglou, but the page was deleted shortly after. Maybe a bigger deal is in the works? Westbrook got dealt?

* [L. Frank and M. Hughes (Sr. VP/Asst. GM) were seen chatting with 6’10” forward Dinos Mitoglou and his agent at the SEF stadium where the Greek NT was holding a training camp for the OQT, per Tolis Kotzias of Greek outlet SDNA. With talks at advanced stages, a deal is expected to materialize soon.](https://www.reddit.com/r/LAClippers/comments/1dnm06a/l_frank_and_m_hughes_sr_vpasst_gm_were_seen/)

###Random useless side notes/thoughts:
* Westbrook and Tucker got removed from the roster page, but it has been reverted back to the pre-updated version * Greek journalist Tolis Kotzias and Clippers have had some sort of relationship/connection for years ([pic of him and Lue](https://i.imgur.com/dk4OPu8.jpg)), so it’s reasonable that this Mitoglou news first came out from him a few weeks ago instead of NBA people like Woj/Shams/Haynes, etc. * Roster page is sometimes somewhat reliable because the media team tends to update it before the official announcement. For example, every year around September, you can see who gets signed/invited for a trainning camp. Of course, some of those profiles get removed from the roster page quickly because they’re only signed for their G League rights (sign-and-waive type of Exhibit 10 = two-way contract conversion if needed/G League rights for the team, $75K bonus for a player), but for the sake of making proper transactions, the media team usually updates the site first even when the team doesn’t drop the announcement via twitter or site. (e.g; Clippers’ Bryson Williams in ’22 & ’23, Nets’ Raiquan Gray in ’22) * Maybe it was a mispublished draft, like they got a call from the other team about a deal and now L. Frank & team’s salary cap strategist are cooking something, I don’t know. But just like some reporters said, “There’s enough wiggle room for Clippers to do some stuff, if they get creative.” So there was some miscommunication between the front office and media team or they might’ve just felt they needed to make all the moves first before making this Mitoglou signing official?

I believe we have around 3 million left of the MLE, so he could get part of that if it takes more than the minimum to help get him out of his contract

I immediately want to watch him fight Jokic. 6’10” forward? The right goddamn direction right there. Let’s go huge and play Kawhi at SG where he’ll be safe until the very end where he’ll be incredibly healthy until a random game where his asshole ligament springs loose.
Edit: gdamn the boy is nice. Hopefully he keeps the aggressiveness and gets the green light on the perimeter.
