Q: How is this relevant to Portland?
A: LeBron would have had to take a pay cut for LA to make any FA signings, now that he’s signed for the max the only way they can improve is through trades, which hopefully increases their need for Jerami Grant.
Price of the brick (Grant) just went up. Lol nah all seriousness though.. I like Grant. Idc if he’s on the roster for next season. That’s a just me.
If anything, I would’ve wanted to see him play with Luka.
My guess is that Lakers weren’t willing to pay asking price for anyone, and the Grant ship has sailed on for now.
Also seems they aren’t looking to unload there future picks as they know they’ll need them for the eventual rebuild.
