Lakers, Bulls, Blazers Working On 3 Team Trades

what’s going on everyone so the Lakers are still active in trying to find moves in trades uh they appear to be really trying hard to find three- team deals so there was reports from Jake fiser talked about it in a video earlier today in which the Lakers are working with the Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets uh on a potential three- team deal uh there was further reports that came out uh later today that said that um the Chicago Bulls are actively working with the Lakers to find a third team via sign in trade to help facilitate Demar de rozan right uh one of the big things is that the Lakers are trying to get as impactful of a trade as possible right they want yes a demard Rosen but they know they need more than just thear if they’re going to contend and be real like Championship level team compared to all these other teams that are getting better right so another team that has emerged is the uh Portland Trailblazers so the ERS are still in talks and are expected to put like a real formal offer for Jeremy Grant there’s just been kind of negotiations and conversations they are supposed to put together an actual like hey here’s a proposal and uh potentially add a third team so it is very possible that they could work it out to where you have a Chicago Bulls Portland Trailblazers Los Angeles Lakers three- team deal in which the Lakers end up Landing to Mar Rosen and Jeremy Grant it seems to be kind of based on the information the angle in which the Lakers are trying to go now they still could end up going with the Nets cuz supposedly the Nets really want d’angel Russell maybe they even expand this even further right maybe they do do like a move for Jeremy Grant depending on how much demard de Rosen signs for right maybe they work something out with that or maybe you know like uh you’re sending DLo to know Portland and Portland is sending DLo to the net so that way they can maybe get something else that they want so it is possible that they they could expand and facilitate the trade problem with stuff like that is it becomes very challenging right because it’s hard enough to just do a one for one trade now you start adding a third or potentially fourth team that things just get really like you know convoluted at times and then you think you have a deal done everyone’s happy and then as you’re submitting the papers it’s like ah second thought I think I want more and it just now you got to start all over right so the idea again is to try to grab multiple pieces even Rob pinka earlier today because they’re having all of their uh introduct to you know Brony James and connect D connect so even like Rob pinka talked about how like hey you know look we are trying to find trades we’re finding our active trade everyone’s dealing with the new CBA which no one really wants to hear it’s like come on we’re seeing all these other people make all these other moves can you do something he said though look for the Right Moves for the right trades we’re willing to sell everything right we’ll trade the two future first we’ll do whatever we have to to find the right trade question is can they find the right trade um we do right now have a little monkey wrench in our uh our pursuit of DeMar rosen the Miami Heat have entered the conversation Miami is actively trying to pursue DeMar rosen as well supposedly um there’s talks that Pat Riley might have already ruined it though because he offered him basic the vet minimum now they are supposedly trying to work out signing trades also and that they may be interested in working on a sign and trade with Chicago to land deard rozan so it is something at least worth mentioning but there’s also several reports that were like Pat Riley basically ruined that so I don’t know but to me it’s like the Lakers if you got to pick a lane here right if we’re going to go get dear push your chips and get dear dear either wants to come or he doesn’t it’s simple do you want to be here if you don’t then we need to go look elsewhere we just missed out on Clay we can’t risk waiting around for you and now we’re now we’re in trouble because you decide to go to Miami or something if you want to be here we’ll do whatever we have to to bring you here if you don’t want to be here then fine and we’ll pivot and go find something else and it’s simple and then you can figure it out and go to Miami or whatever and you know if we end up not needing you anymore then we don’t need you anymore more if you know it doesn’t work out with Miami and we still need you well then maybe we’ll we’ll work something out but right now we got to Pivot in another direction right like so that’s the the thing you at some point you got to start putting pressure on these guys I know you’re waiting around I know you’re trying to play this form but it’s like how badly do you want to do you want to be a Laker or not you went on a press tour for like a year on like while you were with Chicago talking about how badly you wanted to be a Laker and how like it was your lifelong dream and you thought you were going to Lakers and know you even went on vacation because you were so excited and wanted to clear your head before you go to La and all this stuff and then you were upset that Russell Westbook and so maybe he is looking at it kind of like you know like he feels slided but again that was years ago and you could have had other options and other opportunities to come right but you wanted to stay where you wanted to stay and you didn’t want to force trade when the Lakers were trying to trade for you you know the last two years right so to me it’s like the Lakers they got to figure out a path here but I don’t I like the idea of going and getting Jeremy Grant right adding Jeremy Grant talking to Portland they’re working hard to try to get Jeremy Grant from Portland my my one concern with Jeremy Grant is his commitment if he’s willing to come in and really Buy in and be committed on especially on both sides of the basketball beautiful let’s go cuz he is ideal he is basically ruy haimura and Jared vanderbelt meshed you know he’s he’s not as good defensively as Jared like Jared vanderbel just like Relentless right there are questions about Jeremy Grant and his motor at times right he can kind of slack off and you know at times doesn’t look committed which is why I use the word committed like he looks just kind of like he has better things to do at times so to me if he can really lock in lock down and focus and hone in to like hey I have a real opportunity here to win a championship right we’re contending for a championship I’m playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis and potentially DeMar rosen right let’s let’s go right like let’s let’s go win a chip here because look Jeremy Grant on the surface makes all the sense in the world all of it right he’s a legit three anded guy shoot 40% but he also could just go get a bucket right he’s a guy that could put the ball in the deck hit the mid-range you know use his size length and strength to get to the best it’s a guy that gets you 20 plus a game you add in to Mar Ro and there’s another guy that get you 20 plus a game right youd be good defensively you still got to work out your point guard situation whether you know they probably would go with ausar Reeves but I don’t like the idea of like Reeves at the point for one I just don’t think Reeves can handle it two you know I I don’t like a backourt of like Reeves and Demar like I’m not a super fan of that like on the defensive side I’d almost rather go Christie like have like Max Christie demard Rosen uh Jeremy Grant LeBron James and Anthony Davis because Jeremy Grant or uh DeMar rosen he could be your initiator he’s done it pretty much everywhere and with the Spurs I mean San Antonio and Greg papovich used to have him play the point at times right like that’s just like the the initiator and get the offense running especially JJ sounds like he wants to run like this free flowing offense to where it’s not just like you know LeBron dominating the B basketball and getting guys going no it’s like you know you just have the initiator that comes in get your guys in actions and then boom that’s it they’re they’re everything starts to flow so I I do really like that idea of like okay work out to where you get a jemy grant get a um Demar de rozan right Demar rozan and Jeremy Grant are probably both going to be cheap you probably won’t have to sell the farm to go get them DeMar rosen you’re probably only giving up couple seconds I mean you have to give players to match salaries and stuff but I’m talking about just like you know to you know basically uh uh like asset wise like pickwise I don’t think you’d have to give up more than you know a second or two seconds cuz again you’re just they’re all they’re doing is facilitating it they’re going to lose him for nothing uh and then you go to the Jeremy Grant side of things go get him there doesn’t seem to be many going after him too heavily uh and on top of that he’s overpaid and so you know maybe you have to give up a first maybe you’re giving up a first in a couple seconds or a first in like a pick Swap and then you still may end up having a first to go do something else and then you still could potentially have your midlevel exception in which you could use that to go bring in like a tius Jones or you know I’d still look to bring in Miles Bridges right can you can you convince mile Bridges to come and then just go big because you could have LeBron basically be your pseudo point guard right LeBron could I mean he could still operate out the four but you could have him imagine like Demar uh Bridges Grant LeBron and AD man that would be that would be tough because now you’re talking you have size you have versatility you have defense you have shooting you have five guys that could go drop 20 I mean you got like a bigger you got a bigger uh Celtics team at that point but anyway I don’t want to get my hopes up too much but it is looking like more likely than not whatever trade ends up getting done is probably going to be a three- team deal uh whether it’s Chicago and or it’s uh the Blazers and um and maybe even get expanded into a four team deal or the other alternative is um you know maybe it’s even like two three team deals maybe it’s like Chicago the Nets and the Lakers and then it’s like the the Blazers the Lakers and the Jazz are a team that has been uh heavily linked to the Lakers and they’re like kind of worked stuff out with all these guys so maybe there are these like multi- team type moves that the Lakers are are shaping up to create it’s going to be interesting I’m excited um as long as something gets done right it’s like we’re all just like waiting around anxiously for something anything it’s like come on something come on it’s like just do something right but anyway as always this is a discussion I pass a question on you
