Also important to note, you can now use the MLE essentially as a trade exception. We could do something like send out a couple 2nd rounders and get back a player making up to $12.8mm
We can also use the MLE in a trade this season if we don’t use it this summer. I know everyone is eager for a move but with the remaining free agents available being pretty meh it might make more sense to wait for a trade opportunity and resign Okoro
